Dave
Hi Khizer and welcome. Stunning mb6, love the style you have going on there. Looks in really good condition for an R plate too. Nice plans in store for it, we have had a few turbo'd MB6's in the club now, be interesting to see what figures you get with it mate. Krzys
Welcome! Looks a decent motor! Boost should be fun!
kizzabash
I do try keep her clean but i cover over 300 miles a week so always filthy now! The turbo is a garret td04 from what i was told, cast iron manifold, 550cc injectors, toyosports intercooler. Just saving for a good decent clutch and a cambelt change, also may buy some arp headbolts to keep it safe! Aiming for 280bhp for a safe car

Grant
Lol ok mate .. Basically a twin scroll charger, used in both the evo and scoob, which are the TD variants (I think some VAG's also use a TD something something) has a slightly different design to a normal turbo .. The turbine wheel is a very slightly different design to allow it to be spun at different velocities .. The manifold is then equally split so that cylinder 1&3 and 2&4 (this is dependent firing order of the engine, we're obviously 1,3,4,2 but I cant remember exactly which we should use on the twin scroll) are equal lengths and they in turn spin a different (front & back) part of the turbine wheel .. Better explained in here - Or through this link - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turbocharger#Twin-scroll Basically it aids in response and is supposed to be better performance high up the rev range .. BUT can still be used with a normal mani .. Just wont get the best from the turbo ..
