(Wonder how many northerners I can piss off here) bloody Scottish police, pulled 3 times coming out of Scotland for no insurance (I had swapped it over but hadn't caught up on the digital system yet) each time after holding me for 15-20 minutes I was told "don't worry, we'll notify the rear of the force" blooming muppets. philgor Posted March 4, 2015 Share Posted March 4, 2015 only been pulled in the deck once, it was the Thursday before Japfest, and I wanted to get home and get to bed, as I was on lates, so was pushing speed limits, he started following me after I went round a bend another speed limit (it's quite a sharp sudden bend normally taken around 25) I did it at 30, what did it for him was that I took the next left, then right and then left again, had a quick chat what I was doing out at that time of night, advised me to take it easy going down south for the day after and told me to enjoy my self at Japfest.Only had to talk to coppers twice before that, one was after I hit a cyclist (2009), and then when I killed the astra by rolling it (2010) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

mojo_risin Posted March 5, 2015 Share Posted March 5, 2015 I got pulled in Glasgow doing 66 on the M8 (as it turned to a 50 admiralty) at 04:30 in the morning en route to the airport and got a ticket. fyfie5 Posted March 6, 2015 Share Posted March 6, 2015 I used to get pulled very often as I was out late at night with friends etc once got pulled for my indicators being too fast and the best one was there is this park that we meet up in and the roads are a one way system (one in, one out) but the speed bumps on the out road are too high so we have to go out the in way lol and I was last to go out and just as I got to the exit a police car turns in to the park and we are facing each other in an awkward stand off, my excuse was the speed bumps were too high the other way haha not that im too low, they moaned about my exhaust, yellow lights, the fact the car was dewipered?? luckily before they could give me a ticket they got called away for something more serious Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
