A 2" universal backbox would be a better choice for you I think. Altho a 2.5" would work the pipe work will need flaring to weld. Exhaust place will fit it. Inlet is the pipe side under the car. And outlet is the piece that you see. The tip

Nice one, I couple of pair of mole grips, or pliers should help you get the shape you need Also when fitted you can bend it a little to where you want the filter to stay Furthest away from the engine as possible It would be worth, as mentioned to remove the resonator box and run a cold air feed to it I had to remove mine as the intake wasint long enough with it being 'universal' so that coupled with having no cai the heat soak was horrendous!

For the air filter bracket, I would have a look in b&q or home base for something that you could use, or if not I shouldn't be to hard to fabricate one from a strip of metal Years ago I used some old Meccano which worked aswell

All about growing up why I ever thought Lambo doors and 2 ton sound system was a good idea I'll never know lol But I had some great times with this car,met some brilliant people and even though I'd admit it looks silly - I had fun back then
