  1. What's Happnin' Dudes! hows it going guys I know i have been AWOL for a while, I've been crazy busy with work and car stuff has been sidelined due to time and money issues, however i managed to avoid selling her and found a corner to hide her in under a cover but things are starting to happen again, she's been off the road for a little under a year while i stockpiled parts and the rebuild has begun! lots of shiny things going into her and i will post a full update when i can get some pictures Hope everyone is doing well and I'll speak to you all later now I'm gonna go lurk around the rest of the forum and see what everyone else has been up to

  3. Nah, the 03's had the flower pot exhaust, the 04's had funnel exhaust stack. They were built by different builders aswell But 03901, is a complete re-engineered loco. Only the shell remains. The 204hp 8L3 Gardner engine has been replaced with a 14Ltr Cummins engine rated for 350hp. The transmission is a 2speed change box with hydraulic transmission. Over the 5spd transmission. http://www.andrewbriddonlocos.co.uk/locos/br-workshops-class-03.html More detailed information is in there written by the bloke who owns it and re-engineered it.

  4. The 03 is a very nice loco. It's a very unique, as it's got a 14ltr Cummins engine fitted with a straight through exhaust from the turbo...

After i cut the flattern lower lip of the arch u can see the layers of the body are now urm apart lol oops will fill/silcone/underseal these gaps in :/ Took it for a drive around the block before working on the rear arches, scrubbed alot lol! Tracking is very much needed but i want new track rods first.
