  1. FFS mate that's not good! Did the garage doing the welding not check her over fully for any more that might be needing done, I mean they've had her long enough! Absolute pia bud, I feel your pain. On the plus side, we can't really go out anywhere just now cos of this stupid lock down so suppose that kinda takes a bit of the sting out, but still, more work, more cash and more waiting.

  2. Ive not fitted one but can imagine it's a bit of messing about to get the asr brace one. Subframes a slightly different shape to eg and abs lines are there aswell. Sure it's doable tho

  3. Thanks guys much appreciated,my favourite colour in them aswell being honest, only the start of the mods hopefully, has anyway put the asr subframe bar on? Heard they aren't a straight fit? Not alot of these in Northern Ireland, hoping once all this virus stuff blows over I can get to Mimms some day and see some more

  4. Total PIA. The jacking points were one of the things that I knew needed doing first, from trying to jack it up and them just folding! Yeah, the underseal was done by the garage doing the welding, so my usual mechanic didn't spot it - his ramp lifts the chassis, but the garage doing the mot's ramp used the jacking points. Apparently he noticed the hole when checking the bushes, and the pokey tool went straight through.

  5. So, tubs went for her mot today, and would have passed if it hadn't needed welding doing... Yes..... Fooking welding. After being in getting welding done for about 3 months! Rear jacking points and a hole in the chassis! Needs two new front springs as well, but that's no big deal. Gutted
