Glad that it sounds like you're nearly there with it. That happened when my distributer died - it was turning over, but really fast and as you say sounded odd. Interesting to hear the reason. Popped down to the garage to see the car today. Went to swap the clocks, as I had swapped the ones from tubs when I thought I could swap the reg across. Swapped all the red bulbs from the clocks while I was on. Tried to test them before everything was back in place, but they weren't working for some reason... Spent ages checking connections, then gave up and put everything back... Was only when I came to put the switches back and reconnected the dash dimmer switch that I remembered that they don't work when that switch isn't in. I'm sure that I had the same problem all those years ago when I first put the red bulbs in. Felt good sitting there with the engine running After New year, it'll be skirts on (they're looking good all painted up now), mot, then back to me

I'm properly getting excited about it now... Just wish I'd been able to get it back before Christmas so I could have got stuck into it while I've been off. Getting itchy fingers Spent about an hour rubbing leather conditioner into the momo steering wheel today. Seems like nice stuff - auto finesse.

Hi guys me again, So in a continued effort to make my K20 MB2 perfect (or as close to as I can) I was recommended into getting an LSD fitted. So I'm looking for suggestions if anyone knows what works well with K20A2 and suitable for an MB2 chassis. (I'm also be looking around on K series forums too but I thought I'd also ask you guys in case anyone here is quite knowledgable about it). Many thanks once again :)

I'm not sure the ins and outs mate. But certainly s9b lsd is commonly used in ep3 boxes.

You can actually fit a b series lsd into your box. .no doubt the cheapest option. But then there's the m factory options. Whilst in there could fit a higher final drive. Really transform the car if your planning on keeping it n/a.
