Thanks mate. I’ve actually burnt out the rubber part of one of bushes [I think the fumes have knocked a few years off my life], but it’s the metal collars which are now stuck in and the tools I own won’t get the sodding things out.1 point

Top idea, and I'll have to have a ponder. Arches and sills seems to be the areas most prone to rusting. Age of the cars now means that bushes will all be in various stages of falling to bits. Sticky handbrake is another woe that we're all far too familiar with. Engine wise I can't think of anything so long as regular oil changes have been done?1 point

Hope that fixes it mate. I've been keeping an eye on the spare wheel well in mine, and so far so good, and that's with a bit of rain and couple of rinses at the jet wash (no brushes mind you...)1 point
