MOT day today, flew through... Even no issues on emissions... Nice Not much else to report, gave it a clean at the weekend, and fitted some proper diameter hose for the screen wash so they work properly now. I did fit a room brace (b pillar floor brace) a few weeks back, and took it back off straight away.. The brackets were flexing when I moved the brace by hand.. Not worth the inconvenience of having it in the footwell at the back. Anyway, post wash pic...

Got the front and rear splitters ready to be fitted when I have time off work again. Front one had come off a car that had had a bit of a front end drama and needed a fair bit of fibreglass and filler. Used plastidip instead of paint also Had to try and remake one of the tips out of filler as there was nothing left of it after its date with whatever it hit. Came out quite well I think. There were a couple of big cracks right through on one side, literally nearly ripped completely, fibreglass has done it well anyway can’t tell it was ever bad. Also, the rear splitter has a piece cut out of the middle for a tow bar by its previous owner. Not my choice but that’s why I paid 30 quid for it so I can’t complain. I have a rear tow hook that fits nicely through it so it’s even less of a problem.

God job on the splitter mate, looks top. I bet the track day was a hoot!

Cheers man, yeah was a real good day out. Cooked the brakes a few times and shaved off a decent amount of tyre but I was having fun so! One of the photos there’s my mates brother in the passenger seat and we’re both laughing as I’d completely lost it right before the corner but managed to get it turned in enough still. Was surprised how well it handled, felt very planted, back came out a couple times but only on Chris curve when I was pushing my luck a bit much. Managed a whopping 85mph on the straight and fully sent it at that speed up the next corner too haha. I got a couple laps recorded onboard on my phone but they look so slow in comparison to what it actually feels like
