  1. Looks wicked Dave! Are you going to do the mirrors in wrap?
  2. Today i have fitted my New Pioneer TS-E1002i Rear speakers. It wasn't a striaght fit as i went by the size someone said they were on here. I got 10cm ones and i think to be a dirrect fit they would need to be 13cm. Anyway they are in and they are good quality for what they are
  3. My Mate said 3m are producing some glossy carbon vinyl , i have looked on the net and i can't find it lol
  4. Thanks mate, once i have finished with a few repairs it will back to mods!
  5. Here is a quick slightly out of focus pic from today. My drive isn't flat so you get an idea of the height if not anything else. I do want to lower it a bit more, but have a few things i need to sort first... Also i rapped my fuse box cover lol
  6. Is it projects around the house or car related lol
  7. After seeing this many times recently its reminded me to get new rear ones! I have ordered a set of pioneers
  8. I thought it was the same seller that i bought mine from. At the time i was like i know its more that i seen it for before but i need one asap! Glad i have swapped it though, also i think i remember someone saying that they were about £120 from MG - Rover?
  9. I ended up paying a bit more as i wanted one ASAP but it was still cheaper than getting it from MG so its all good
  10. Got my MGZS 180 Shocks and springs on the car today and the ZS ARB, feels a lot stiffer! Still is a bit high but i expect that to settle a bit. At the moment its good as when i go camping it will be alright to load the car up lol. I was also bored a min ago so carboned my engine fuse box cover.
  11. lol im going to put it on at the same time as the suspension. Then its time to put the s80 and a new clutch
  12. I have just ordered a ZS Anti Roll bar, so that will be going on in a few weeks
  13. Cambelt has been replaced, and the suspension is on its way to me (Thanks Johnny)
  14. Car is booked in for the Cam belt for Monday, so having to hold off the mods until that and my suspension is sorted. Then its probably going to be box fitted and a rear lip that i have seen cheap, hopefully it will still be there when i have the money!
  15. Will do mate, going to be a bit longer as i need my cambelt changed, and also my geometry sorted on my suspension, so whilst its all off im probably going to get MGZS 180 V6 shocks and springs fitted.
  16. After seeing a thread of a quick seat repair, by just using shoe polish i have been meaning to get some to do mine. Here are a few quick before and afters, i have only done one quick coat at the moment. Also some pics of the S80 i picked up a few weeks ago. Its being stripped down to have its input shaft bearing replaced and also the oil seals. Then i have to save up and get a clutch and get it fitted Reversed doesn't look the best but its can't be much different to many other boxes lol
  17. My shelf rattles to the point i wanna scream lol! Is it quiet now?? Think i will be buying some of that! It does rattle when you go over big bumps, but it used to rattle all the time before!
  18. Today i fitted the stereo, and i now have tunes again! The clock works still, and I’m amazed that I didn’t fix it sooner as it’s like a different car with a backlit clock lol In the week i helped to almost get rid of the rattle from the parcel shelf! Cost me £5 to put some draft excluder tape on the plastic bits where the shelf sits! It’s such an improvement i would recommend it to anyone! There isn’t much else in the car that actually rattles now to annoy me! Also today i went to look at my new gearbox that has been stripped down. I’m going to get the input shaft bearing replaced and it needs 2 new sills, then i need to get some MTF and a clutch then it’s ready to be fitted. I will probably do this in the next month or two as i need to get it through the MOT this week first which is the priority
  19. Thanks mate I have fixed the clock problem tonight, it was the 7.5amp fuse in the engine bay, i thought i checked it at the weekend but couldn't have. So the clock is working and it lights up! First time since i have had the car I think i have sorted the leads for my stereo that were f**ked by the previous owner, so i can put that back in at the weekend, as for the last two weeks i have been missing the sound of music in the car!
