Well she is back got her back last week and the panel beater done a great job, but as you will see he didnt do a good job of washing the car So i gave her a good old detail first off was strip all wax so washed with dish soap then hit it with APC next was Iron X Then i clay bared it with bilt hamber medium clay (wont ever be getting that again, too hard) Some pictures of the damage this was not the painter but im guessing its caused from someone removing the hardtop could have been me Let the action begin, i used MF pads + carpro fixers This picture shows some deep scrapes i am not willing to remove due to time and risk of not knowing the paint depth Next i hit it with IPA (good stuff) then it got the first coat of wax I left it over night to cure and gave it another coat this morning Moved onto the interior using IPA on everything, i like a matt finish ... hoovered and windows cleaned with you guessed it IPA Polished the exhaust tip and hardtop latches with autosol Before After No glamour shots F***ing weather sorry for the crappy pictures (camera phone) Next i think i might detail the engine bay

what polish you using

Pressing too hard too, happened to one of my MF polishing pads i use MF pads (polishing and finishing) with CapPro fixers and i just F***ing love it, i first spread the polish on number 1 then work it at 5 and a half i dont use tape really (for 50/50's yes), what i do is use points on the car like the door handle or badges as a reference point the only thing is keeping the pads fresh in between sets, i use a finger nail cleaning brush to brush up the fibers again BH it ment to be very good im reading, dose it cost much

AG is the safe bet there acid wheel cleaner is amazing stuff for baked on brake dust and the super sheen (final step of engine cleaning) smells like banana milkshake on tip for the leather/fake leather people like yourself is never to spray straight on to leather if the spray dries in it could stain the leather and if clean a half leather seat always dampen the leather first so there is not risk of anything drying in never use chemicals on a hot engine and the same for wheels they showed us pictures of wheels that had been wrecked due to improper chemical use, some changed colour to gold !! and the same with calipers
