hi i have just had my ABS light come on my MB6 i have cleaned the front two sensers and no change what is my next step is there a way of flashing the fault or is there a normal problem this is more than a normal pain of a fault cause my car had been MOTed and failed on the hand brake and this started 4 days after the MOT so its before i even tried to fix that so the MOT will fail it for the light TOO
-
in my opinion they look really good and are light and i like they for road use but it i push the car or track it then no i am after std MB6 wheels cause i will not use spacers ever again unless they have the spigots on for road i have 16" ( look right size on the car to me ) for track 15" ( tyrers cheaper too better feel i think too on the limit )

yer it has too be working if ABS is fitted from what i heard its a mind field some places state that if it was fitted to that model and year it has to be fitted so if you remove it they will fail it last year i took my mates race MK2 Mr2 rev3 that i built for its MOT the drive shaft where changed to non ABS and the pump unplugged and bulb removed so it was just sitting there but the fluid was going through the block so they failed it .The lad told me to get shut of the block( rev1's and rev2's did not have ABS ) and he will pass it . i also read the same thing in PPC so if early MB6 did not have ABS you may be lucky it just depends on the MOT place and how they read it from what i have read about this bit

brake stopper is easy just back it off i had brake lines 1st when i did my bits
-
have you noticed any temp increases or decreases with the aircon removed ? brakes stoppers i think are very good esp for the money i can really tell its fitted to mine what make is the engine damper and have you noticed any difference ?

this is the one i have http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SIX-PERFORMAN ... 415fded85a but from a different seller the bar is round it will go one but the mb's are about 2degree different on the holes so they need a TWEEK when fitting

hi i think there may be a few problems with the hondas leaking in different ways from what i have read and seen on my own car last year my car leaked very bad in the passenger floor well it was comming down through the heater and it even froze that up and it only happened in very bad down poors (also happened last summer in a flash down poor ) so to me it was when lots of water was running so i took my scuttle cover to see if things where blocked but it looked all clear but there was some dirt build up from years so looking at it it lookes like the build up of dirt was not allowing the water too flow where it should and the place it was running was right down the vent for the air intake for the blowers because there honda builders have left it sticking out a bit in the scuttle the rain would have just been flying over and down into the vent a quick bend in towards the seat and no more heavy leaking floor well has been dry since so take the scuttle off take a look but i do have damp A pillers inside at the top roof lining to piller so that should be the sun roof or the window

bleed it all through as normal but as said before fit some braided lines at the same time or you will have too spend twice ( and dont forget its DC2 line kit you want NOT mb6)
-
spacers are ok to use i DID have 5mm and 3mm on the back but keep checking your wheel nuts and DO NOT USE THOSE WHEELS OR ANY SPACERS if you ever go on a trackday
-
ok folks any one know why i have 5 1/4" speakers in the back of my mb6 2000 vti when they are ment to be 4" they are standard noname ones and the mounting holes have not been altered i know its 6" fronts (6 1/2" will fit at a push )
