  1. remember mb6/mc2 has a higher offset than lower M's im running 16" 7j with an offset of 35with no issuses i think i could have got away with the 25 but didnt want to take the risk take a look at my thread

  3. also you are trying to read an obd1 ecu with tech designed for obd2
  4. theres a power window/central locking ecu in the drivers door pretty easy to swap out 2 screws and a plug the only thing under the console is the immobiliser
  5. hi ryan what is a distrubution block...??? fuse both ends(inline fuse i take it like an amp power cable what amp fuses would you think) mine was fine, ran everything okay and didn't have a problem with it for ages can i get a race battery that matches our standard ampage and cold crank...???? Or you could just take a dump before you get in the car to get the same effect.

  8. yeah i will take some pics where i want to mount to clear any confusion as for space for the turbo there isnt really anything other than a catch can that i could mount in battery space i would think
  9. hi guys i think this could be my next mod i want to relocate it into the void behind the rear seats but infront of the spare tyre(deck owners will know what im talking about ) i just want to know if anyone has done it and what is needed(ie what type of cable battery box connectors and so on) any help will be welcomed
  10. its because its not an engine mod to improve or enlarge hp gains... now you know it wont effect your insurance you may aswell get it fitted
  11. just ask your insurance company first..... "And is it worth fitting" personal choice bud... most custom exhaust places will build you a back box for£110-£140 and cat back for £250ish it depends what you want

  13. the mb6 centre will be shorter as the cat for eg ek ej em is 420mm and the mb6 is 485mm but all floor plans are the same(ie exhaust tunnel) i only have the mc1 (d16w4) and im using a ek apexi centre with no real fitment issuse most exhausts are the same its your manifold and cat that are the prob but you can get round this with either an ajustable decat or sorten the centre just before the resinator box
  14. get them feckers mopped and polished and loose the centre caps and put in your oem h badges

  19. i love my wee sohc i think they are great wee engines and very smooth.... i had a EK vti few years back and you had to strangle it everywhere(did like the high rpm tho)
  20. cheers! i really need to get some of those silicone hoses is it as simple as taking the old ones off and putting the new ones on.? yes its just off then back on then top up with coolant bud.... you can get a combo kit on flebay(alloy rad slim fan and hoses for £130 dont know what they are like but they look good)
