Finally got my rain sensor plate to stick to the window, i used a recommended plastic to glass sealant by a diy shop, works now! Going to see my next possible giggle of fun project on wed afternoon, hope its gd and .... it could envolve a b18 engine swap ....

Its been an idea ive wanted to do for a while, all i can say its jap and 80's and fun to drive

Finally filled up the boot in the accord with 2/3 of a shed, done quite well:D also filled her up almost to the brim for the first time, leaving the garage i had 616 miles but when i left work at 10pm it went upto 692 miles! ooh i might be getting a new little project coming soon maybe before xmas and im getting my garage completely redone roof n all finally in january exciting new times

You know i was thinking this week maybe ill keep her but this guy called me up about it (turns out its the same guy who wanted to see it in the dark a few weeks back!) asked loads about it but started saying stuff like what will u take what will u take theres 1 a few miles away for £400 and i know another one for £250 but i wasnt budgin for no one! its 500 or no sale repeatedly, wanted to drive past it earlier today, so i told him where it was and he kept calling me till i got home at half 2. Moaned about the headunit not being there as i want to keep it so i said i wanted double what i paid for it lol Didnt know s**t about cars even tho he said hes had over 50 civic's was for his phewew who wasnt there, soon as he turned the key he revved it right up, what an idiot! tried me at 425 again NOPE 450 NOPE 475 NOPE! 500 or no sale and he paid up! Id rather keep her! Then he said can u drive me home as he was local and he'll give me a lift back, oh and pick up his kids as well, what a joke!! Turns out his phewew is a pizza boy so ill see it around and about i hope but he said it'll last 6 months ??! Looking for wheels for the starship lol

Krzys it has to be clear as the sensor reads the wiper thru the glass, i will try the loctite glass glue at the weekend. Haha reminds me of the 90's

I do like the lip kit but a bit extreme for me but it shows how gd these can look, been looking at intercoolers and BOV's for it and most say dont bother, unless i upgrade the turbo to get the highier pressures, they will actually make it slower! The oem airbox and cooler are actually well made and designed quite right & efficient! So a remap is just the best choice if i get round to it!

Got some sealant in a squeezy tube from halfraurds and this time ive covered the whole plate, hopefully it sticks this time, was a right pain to get the other stuff off! Oh got both my caddy and top box toolboxes for work in the boot with ease!

Got a reply yesterday, after consideration they have dropped the charge too £15, i then went to pay today and they did for an extra £1.50 for using any payment method! I found halfaults do a loctitie glass glue, getting some tomorrow to stick the sensor back on

Found a car park ticket on her tonight, bloody parking attending w****r, asked an old man for his ticket who was leaving at the same time, also in the pics u can see my dogs head, he likes to worm thru into the front seat (wears a muzzle as he chews everything when in the car lol) so i got a ticket and my dog knocked it off the dash lol

torque gt was a gd one, really i thought it used to be about 1k - 1.5k to ship and around 500 to reg & test. Thing is the cars go really cheap in japan as the value of 2nd stuff is bad. Id love an import tho.

Well it proby didnt have a hard life it got here and some mugs treated it like dirt. Been looking at import sites, so much more expensive from what i remember but some really nice nissans & scoobies coming onto the auctions. Ive not heard of tiger seal but i think what i need is a super hold clear silcone sealant, i know a tube will be around 6-7 for gd stuff but i only need a squirt!

Had a go at repairing the auto rain sensor yesterday, it was only working when u pushed it against the screen so the glue was knackered, first remove the plastic cover it just unclips on the sides but does put up a fight. Remove the plug and slowly pull back the sensor off the screen, the plastic plate unclips and you can remove the gel like glue from it, i used my thumbs to push the glue forward into a blob & used a spirit to clean off the rest. Now i used my finger to apply a line of clear silcone around the plastic plate edge but not completely covering it as i was unsure if the sealant was going to be clear enough. Taped it up and left it for 2 hours, when reattaching the sensor the plate, it started coming away and i gently pulled it and it came off. SO i need to use strong sealant! Hope this can be found one day and be useful to other wanting to repair this sensor

i know its all a bit of a mess guys, selling a few bits now tho, new sterring rack £100! and a mg zr front arb £30!

Was a bit dissapoinnted but cant be swapped in my accord for some 'hope it works next week' scooby atm, not much else on the market at the mo tho it wont stop me from looking lol

haha u dont need to tell me! Came to a decision to tell the estate agent we wont be moving out till early next year as its coming upto xmas, so we find out if the buyer is willing to wait or not this week. We are gonna start looking into buying some land and building our own house and staying at my old job for a while but theres so much to consider and research and to do its a bit mad!

Went to see a Scoobura legecy GTB today, from the pics its looks super clean (being an import 2010) and very tidy inside, first look was gd but when i lifted the bonnet the latch came off in my hand no biggy, looking thru the last 3 mot's, all had failed with issues and at some point the rear passenger wheel had been smacked as the 2nd to last mot noted that the EML, abs lights were on and the wheel was damaged, was also mentioned on the current mot about outside wheel being damaged so the wheel hasnt been sorted, anyway it ran well, the clocks were still in kmh on 135k (83k), 1 headlight was so yellow it shouldnt of passed the mot, it was mentioned in the notes. I said it needs fuel, so i had to put some in!! only a fiver tho! the steering was heavy and it sputtered when i floored it. Oh at the garage when i started it up u could hear the starter gear & flywheel meshing, tried starting it twice more never a gd sign! Decided to walk away as the accord is better and worth more!

Yeah i know i am a bit gutted but its all a bit tits up, decided to leave that job at mazak and withdraw my offer on the house, job was just s**t, they have great a front but they are bearly making even atm. Went and saw my old boss on sunday and as expected he said i can come back no probs, so in 6ish weeks i wont have a house, will have to move in with in-laws again! I have nowhere to put the civic and could do with the extra cash too. Put it online thursday and last night had some asian dude called me about it, saying he was in the area and wanted to know where i live so he could drive by it and have a look ?? what at 6pm in the dark ? so i said no but ill be in sat, i said text me and ill send u a time & place info, as expected never got a that text! Passed the mot, he said thats the lowest civic hes ever tested and the handbrake just made it thru but everything else was gold

Currently on a MOT hope it passes but somehow i think the handbrake isnt going to be gd enough!

Decided im going to have to sell her on, ive also decided to leave this new s**tty job and go back to my old one but im still going thru with my house sale. So room is will be differcult. I reaklly did want to go crazy with this one but life first and pleasure 1.5 lol
