Went to see this mx5 http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201406094888607/sort/locasc/usedcars/onesearchad/used/postcode/hp156bw/model/mx-5/fuel-type/petrol/price-to/1000/page/1/make/mazda/transmission/manual/radius/20?logcode=p What a bucket, those pics were of when he bought it im sure, the drivers wing had a massive chunk missing and had tape holding the bumper on, the interior was shot, both rear sills had been already welded and on the test drive it was like driving on rocks, a thuding sounds from the back too but on a positive note i fit into it fine and i liked it So im shopping for a mx5 now but not finding any gd ones with a 1.8 and no rust. He said to me, if the guy coming to see the car owns that accord he knows about cars! he asked me if it was an EX model! was nice lol

dont like green lol Passed the re test with free brake fluid top up and no charge too happy days! went and saw the prelude, its was rubbish! the paint was bad, he said its been standing a month and has driven it a few times, the disks were really rusty looked like it been sitting a year u know. When i started it the engine was hot already which is always a bad sign. Also heard a like bad bearing sound, the 4 wheel steer didnt work either. Staying away from that one but i could drive it tho but i still not fond of the looks.
-
err i paid a grand for the agila 6 months ago i cant scrap that! lol plus she needs a car with a proper boot to get dogs into, u never know i might not buy the prelude ..
-
what a diaster of day, the hose didnt turn up at work, on the way home the wifes exhuast pretty much fell off (rallist agila ever lol) so had to pull that off. Then i noticed a package behind my gate, it was the brake hose yay! Then the hard pipe nut rounding off so i had to take the rally car to get tools, to top it off my jack has given up and i nocticed the passenger wing has been hit like from a trolley or something, moved the whole bottom half in about half an inch! Very annoyed! Oh the prelude bloke txt me and said come tomorrow, hope that goes alright.
-
Grant the 165 tyres would be about 5 stretch lol these wheels arent wide but the et is about 15 maybe 10! The accord isnt that slow but as its so old i feel i dont want to rev it much if something goes wrong im screwed lol I want a vtec again
-
im gunna see the prelude tomorrow Its a sad thought but the accord could be gone soon..
-
i like it, i havent been a huge fan of the looks but dang a 2.2 vtec sounds gd to me! i miss it alot!
-
the indicator is the right like a import krzys lol I wish i could do that! but i cant have the accord and the prelude, has to be a swop what do u think of this prelude ? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/281364013131?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2648

Well the broke hose didnt turn up tuesday, ebay updated they had sent it today! typical! emailed them and they said i should get it tomorrow/friday, so i popped into the mot place and booked in friday slot as well BUT on the way home my brake pedal suddenly went all spongy!! Yep isnt that typical the hose has properly split now! had to multitask overtime lol pulling the handbrake, touching the pedal, indicating and changing gear lol Also ive seen a redtop prelude near by for sale, am tempted to go have a look see...

Nice build, bet its hellish quick and surprizes alot of rude boys lol
-
yes tom i thought of that but its gunna be a tight fit as it is believe or not so spacers are out as that means doing the arches which im not going thru again! These are quite old so i dont really want to weaken the rivets if i can help it, will have a think, if only i could get a spare set of calipers to use with the wheels,.... dam u old car lol
-
Ive had constant brake squel all week so as was checking the brakes for stones i test fitted a new wheel (i have only trial fitted on the rear) and oh dear problems! the rivets on the inside of the rim touch the brake caliper! What to do ? do i shave down the rivets abit ? (no) or grind down the caliper a bit ? I think it needs about 4mm to clear it nicely so what should i do guys ?

krzys i need to adjust this vid for me Started her up for my father, he likes alot! Made a epic fail at the start tho and listen out the lame R rawlings hoot at the end lol

They are only 14" and 70's rims so oem wheels werent made that wide but the dish is awesome! Pretty much my steelie tyres can be put on these wheels lol
-
Ah i get ya lol my dad will see it running for the first time this weekend so ill remember to do a vid just for u guys
-
Well 6" Is about 152mm so 165 will be just right i think, putting slim tyres is a bit danagerous lol going for the dished stock tyre look
-
The rims are nearly 6" inches wide so maybe like 165 by 50 lol tina fings!
-
