Wow, I've not posted in ages! I'm always checking out the site and the Facebook page, though. Thanks for the comments. Not much has changed with mine really, just the usual stuff. I gave her a clean today, let's see how long it lasts now the roads are getting salty.

Thanks! I took a couple more pics today while out and about. I'll put them on the computer later and, if they're any good, I'll upload them.

Hello! Not been here for a little while, but I have some new pics. I've painted the lip above the rear number plate, and fitted an exhaust tip onto my OEM backbox. I wasn't sure whether to or not, but I think it looks OK. The other day I parked next to another 1.4iS, with a reg plate very similar to mine! Beige interior and no rear wing, though.
-
It does look a lot better, even better that it was a freebie! I might have to get something like that for mine to smarten up the rear a bit, without replacing the OE back box.

Nice work!

Thanks for the comments. It's definitely Atlantic Blue. Have checked code and had paint made up. Orleans is darker!

My CREE LED rear fog light bulb arrived this morning. Perfect!

From here dude, regularly has them with 10% off making them under £118 delivered. Thanks Wilkesy, I did see your post in your build thread but I haven't seen a photo of it in action yet. Edit: Just ordered one on eBay for £11 delivered.

I sorted out the exhaust knocking by cutting the metal plate off. As far as I could see, it wasn't doing anything anyway! Also, I did the JDM mod on my rear lights. Now I just need to buy a red fog light to place inside the driver's reverse light hole. Any recommendations?

VERY nice.

I put the ARB on this morning! Holy hell, what an improvement, especially on a non-MB6 that has no ARB whatsoever to begin with! The car feels so much more poised, the steering response has been improved tenfold and body roll has all but disappeared. The only issue is that my exhaust (OEM) is knocking against the bar, so I'm going to have to have a look at that. Before: After: This is where it's knocking:

I collected my driver's door with mirror this evening. Also... [*:u8un4oyt]MG ZS 180 rear ARB with drop links etc [*:u8un4oyt]Rear light holders + wiring (for 'JDM' mod) [*:u8un4oyt]Rear number plate holder (going to spray chrome lip blue then swap them over)

That sounds bloody lovely!

Cheers all! A friend is breaking an MB6, so I'm buying the driver's door and mirror from him, as the ones I have aren't great. It's the only part of the car bodywork wise that lets the car down. Lovely weather today so a quick wash and polish ensued, followed by some sunny pics!

Fitted my replacement Honda badge today. Obligatory pics. The number plate chrome lip is on the list to be painted, when I get around to it.
-
Looks so much better with the chrome trim painted.
-
Thanks Nick. Replacement badge for the boot arrived earlier. The one on there at the moment is all flaky, and rather than go down the de-badge route I thought I'd just stick a new one on.
-
Thanks. I'm really happy with it. It's a fairly subtle drop, but enough to make a difference and the ride is still comfortable. I just need to get some nicer pics now. ABS light is staying on now, so I'm going to have to get that sorted at some point.

Great pics!

New pics now my car's been lowered by 40mm on Pi springs. The ride is very good, handles well but doesn't feel harsh. Better than it was before, anyway!
-
Very clean! That headunit gives a nice OEM look to the interior.

Thanks! They're Sprint SW9. EK9 reps, but in 16" rather than the EK9's 15". New pics to come soon now she's sitting a bit closer to the ground.

I think this is the first Y-plate MB I have seen! Very tidy and the wheels really suit it well. Nice Sapphire, too!
