  1. And your verdict mate??
  2. Coils I'll be trial fitting are HSD coils that are currently on my track civic. They are very very hard when turned up, although I never drove them on their soft settings!! Think the wheel choice will work in my favour though as they're obv the standard with a large profile!
  3. This is the combine think I'll be using too
  4. I have this. I think it's due to my door seal. Doesn't look corroded much but it's so flat that the door sits in the A pillar 4-5mm!! Gunna get that replaced soon.
  5. Something I wouldn't kind looking into actually. What has been tried n tested, if anything??
  6. Yeah exactly mate. Takes a good while to build it up. But she's made a decent start
  7. Yeah I've seen they do Hamp. Great filters for these engines.
  8. Brilliant!!!! I am worried though that the coils I have will be too hard though. Will try em n see though
  9. Great looking exhaust mate! So are we now concluding the yeah system fits, just not the back box??
  10. Real craper mate. Feel for you. Was it described as good condition??
  11. Looks lovely and clean mate! Great job on the exhaust, looks great!!
  12. Nice one cheers mate. So just been out for a proper blast on my own. Not sure if everyone is the same, but a car needs to earn my trust. After messing with the intake and wheels today (mostly the thought of the spacers on the front) I needed to build some confidence in her. And I'm pleased to say that she excelled. No nasty shakes/rattles/vibrations. No clunks on either hard cornering or braking. grip isn't fantastic in the wet, but to be expected, the tyres on her are only budgets. But they're almost brand new. Only area in need of improvement is the 'sloppy' suspension and notably the turn in. Don't get me wrong, point her and she goes. But it isn't crystal sharp and can be improved. I'm hoping with a rr ARB and the coils I have to go on it will make a large difference.
  13. Oh I dunno mate! Been a while since I've fitted one!! In fact a long long while lol. Did you do your clock bulb at the same time?? Thinking I might do the same if they're still on offer?
  14. Ha the advertising has worked!! Cheers mate
  15. Thanks mate!! Am doing the headlights too!! Just taken the grill off to de-chrome!! Looks quite good next to the toaster They're only 60mm mate, need the bugger ones, which appear to be quite elusive!!
  16. Nope, no hanging about as I have the cash from the lancer burning a hole on my pocket!! Settled on this head unit. Not DAB, but with connection to my phone, I have all the songs I love anyway!! http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/pioneer-deh-x8500bt
  17. The pipe was easy to do mate!! Halfrauds own satin black paint. Not sure in the chrome lip. May look alright, but not to my taste. Lowering shouldn't be too far away. Just need a decent day if weather!!
  18. I'm sure I've seen a technique on the inter web where they cut it to rough size, then place over the window with the backing still on and heat gun it so it takes to the curvature of the window.
  19. Spot the difference !!! Just need some centre caps, think they're the 69mm ones. Also had to out 3mm spacers on the fronts as they were catching the callipers!! It desperately needs to be lowered now!!
  20. Which brand do you use Tom?
  21. I have a 2.5" on the civic which sounds amazing. Just too loud for the MC. Will keep looking out for a second hand system I think. Not really wanting to fork out £500+
