  1. Hope you have alot of fun times in it mate The front Flyeyes were a bad idea as i couldn't see sh*t!
  2. Nice one mate, glad you like it! You should have trouble free motoring for a while yet Boost? No no no! N/A all the way!
  3. I'm saving the clutch so I can whip that EP3 of yours
  4. It's feckin quick! Obviously diesels aren't meant for top end grunt but this pulls well. Haven't had it really full pelt but will be good. Canny beat the B18c for the fun factor. Even though they don't have much torque, such a blast using the revs and I bet the Civic would beat my accord from 4th gear onwards due to their revs.
  5. Great youtube channel! The Mini build is dragging on though Yeah, may as well get the remap done as was going to do it anyway, just meant half throttle all the way home
  6. Well, I flew down to Bristol with my mate on Saturday 12th December 2015 to collect my new Accord. Roadtest was to pin point any clutch or manifold issues that commonly plague these cars....low and behold...the clutch slipped in 4th 5th and 6th gear on motorway. I remained calm when talking to the trader and explained that I will remind him that I travelled from Scotland under the assurance that this car was road tested and 'great'. I had previously queried the DVLA mot history of brake advisories and fair play to them as they did change the pads. I ended up getting £500 off the car to go towards a new clutch! Result, as I had already budgeted to get the clutch changed to an uprated one as I was getting a remap. On the way back home we stopped off in Halifax to get a remap off Elite Tuning and guy called Fahad. He is also the website owner of TypeAccord forum I am a member of also. I went for a stage 2 with EGR delete. Car now pushing out 193bhp and 340flb of torque. Safe to say the car then slipped the clutch in ALL gears after that! Nursed the car home and now booked into Western Honda for Monday. £306 +vat (staff discount) for fitting only as i'm supplying a CG Motorsports dual friction clutch. Considering its a 6 hour job, I thought that ain't too bad a price. Gearbox oil change and adjust the clutch cruise control switch also (this meant to contribute to premature clutch failure). Not had a chance to put the power down in new car but after the 500 mile bed in period for the clutch, it should be fun! Wheels and spoiler etc will be bought after the new year. Not looking forward to getting wheel arches modded to fit the wheels but I like a challenge.
  7. Well it was a sad day yesterday as my civic was sold. But good news...it was sold to a civic5 forum member called Darren from Burnt Island Forgot to ask his user name but hey, hopefully he will post something up! Told him to go to the annual meets so he can razz it good and proper Darren has had a few civics before and fancied going back to them as there reliable and easy to work on. Can't see him having to do much to mine but he can at least have piece of mind that it's been well looked after. Goodbye wee civic, you shall be missed Amen
  8. Lol lol, was a great sight to behold
  9. Hahaha lol pmsl The wagon version of that shape Accord is the worst shape I've seen. I hate it! The handy walking stick will be useful for ramming into your unicycle spokes
  10. Lol I know diesels are prone for more things than petrols, the lure of torque and black smoke is too much! It will be interesting to go up against the EP3, all down to drivers skill on the twisties A fun blast I will look forward too
  11. Nice positive attitude there Krzys * Exhaust manifold are covered up to 125k regardless of history * timing chain issues were 2005/6 models then revised (mine 2007) * weak pressure plate springs were modified but unsure when. Honda will pay towards a clutch if it goes * injectors not really a problem Apart from the usual diesel stuff, I'm prepared
  12. Haha no! I drove the wifes new focus diesel down to Manchester to see a wreck of an Accord 2.4 a few weeks ago, the fuel I would save is immense and the tuning capabilities are too much to ignore
  13. You did sort it mate, just checked thanks again
  14. Cheers Dave! It was the unusual colour that drew me to this one.
  15. I have went back to my roots for what is now my 3rd Honda Accord. 16. Well, just paid a deposit on my new car Collect it on the 12th December!
  17. That is true! By putting my car up for sale now, means that people can save up n buy it after the new year
  18. She doesn't think so! Had offers via gumtree but just not letting it go for silly money. Explained this all the the wife...she understands now! I'm in no real rush to sell, just wanted it away before Accord arrives. It will be parked up and started/moved etc if the Accord arrives first. Can sit until after new year when people have money!
  19. Price drop due to wife wanting it to away "NOW Ali" Mileage will go up as still using it! I will take up-to-date pics once God decides Scotland has had enough rain! Can't edit advert in classified section as there's an issue with it...
