  1. Here are some pics after picking it up today (before the rain came). Need front splitter and sideskirts done at some point before anyone comments Poor 'into the sun' pic
  2. My car is in for two days getting detailed. Fed up with swirl marks when the sun hits the Pirate Black. Really takes the nice colour away. It's been clay barred and sand papered on only the worst bits. Rest is done by different compounds. It's a Mercedes Benz valeter that is doing the job. It will be ready tomorrow. Here are 3 pics of it as it is now.... Finished pictures when I pick it up tomorrow
  3. Yeah it seems air tight as all the connections seems good quality. Main problem I had was the size of the can and where to mount it. I chose out the way at the back of te engine to suit my taste!
  4. Finished work this morning and came out to this; Wtf?
  5. Right, I have TRIED to stop modding but it just ain't happening Can anyone see what my latest wee mod is?
  6. See that's how I saw this. I adjusted my preload by 5mm this week and it did indeed raise the ride height. Had to then lower it back 5mm to where it was. Ride is harder and better IMO.
  7. Like the build thread mate! Glad your thinking of changing the wheels again, just didn't suit the car IMO. Get another set of Japan Racing deep dishes now that you have lows
  8. Nice video! My favourite civic (after MB's of course)
  9. Ello! Magnecor KV85 are the most recommended ones on here. They are around £80 but I only know them to be sold in red.
  10. Exactly. The cheaper ones will make the ride horrific as you can only adjust the height by compressing the spring...meaning there's no real shock absorbtion.
  11. If you adjust the two nuts under the spring upwards (tightning the spring) that will stiffen he preload AND lower it at the same time. The bottom nut is to adjust the ride height properly. But using the spring nuts can affect ride height also.
  12. Agreed mate! My work has stopped Internet use so using my mobile and pain in the arse as can't 'follow' posts as easy unless switching to 'full version'! Thought I was following this thread as well....Following now! Anyway, love the work done! Guy in my work has a Spoon diff in his EG...says it's a brilliant mod!
  13. I managed 185bhp with remap and breather mods etc. Since then I have improved the exhaust so should be around the 190bhp mark. A bigger bore exhaust would probably.get me slightly.more gains but not worth the £££ to get there. You will be lucky at more than 190bhp from a B18c4 unless deep pockets...which I don't have!
  14. Nice example there! Nice mods, just a set of Meister R's soon and your sorted
  15. Appreciated mate. That's why I love these cars as they do take abuse...if looked after properly. It seems like I abuse the car all the time but rest assured, during the week, going to work, its 60mph motorway journeys.
  16. Cheers mate! Been alot of money to get it where it is today! Finally happy (once I tighten up my spring preload by 5mm)
