Apparently EG coilovers fit effortlessley but cant remember if its on an mb6 or the other mb models. Have never tried just seen someone mention it on another forum.

Anyone ever get bored with their mb3? Dont get me wrong i love mine to bits but its getting depressing that most mates etc are progressing through faster cars. Been hunting preludes and even mb6's but only bags of s**te are for sale. I've also never owned a twin cam and being in mates cars makes me want one so bad Surely im not the only one who goes through this stage? lol.

RMS any good? Been contemplating a new rear box for a while but unsure if i wana go custom or buy a kakimoto from a DC2

I cant watch the video as laptops being gay but are your spark plugs getting drained in oil? whack your leads off and see if oil is getting in as the spark plug seals can leak. This happened to my hatch and ran crappy for a few minutes before it burnt the oil away. may not be this at all just worth having a wee look at.

No worries man it defo does sound nice from the inside. Whats the place like where you got it done? I got my centre section custom made and mated to a toyosports can by CAS in shotts. Went for a tiny silencer box so she roars lol. Always keen to try other places and have heard a few things about the place in prestwick, RMS or something?

When i stuck the engine into mine mate I flushed it as it'd been sitting for a while. IMO its worth it as it noticably cleared gunk away when i dumped the oil out.

I don't usually own a car long enough to tax it, but with the couple that i have taxed i do it online. Quicker and easier,more so due to the parking in our town is just ridiculous.

This may be a tad random but where did the mudflaps come from on the red mb? I've been looking for some for mine but can only find stupid big pvc flaps. Those in the picture are the exact kind of thing im after. Also have a huge love for EK saloons.

I'm going to thank you for the reply as well because ive been hunting for my mb3. Did pick up an EK one which would fit but would need to drill 4 holes on top of the suspension turrett.

Does anyone know why my car seems to be de-catting itself? I think emissions could be iffy but why would this be occuring. could things like lambda sensor be fluffing it up. I have a cat in the centre section from a 1.4 EJ civic as i changed my manifold which decatted it so I threw a EJ one into centre section. Surely the different cat would still do as good a job? Any help would be appreciated because not looking forward to buying a new cat

Duno if i'm speaking for myself here lol, but I'd sooner shoot myself than drive a diesel or a new car. The horrible noises, s**tty smells coming out the back just dont do it for me. Fair play torque figures etc but no torque figures could make me buy a diseasel. Also after working at a honda dealership i hate seeing where new cars are going, i mean what does honda have to boast for now?? A Jazz? Honda sold out like the rest of the companies and only care about fuel consumption blah blah. Doing 50+ mpg doesnt put a smile on my face. Bring back the 90's era baby Apologies for the rant, morale is down today lol.

Yea mate things speedo working now so v-tec etc coming on and engine management light staying off. Fingers crossed for some stress free motoring for a while lol.

Managed to get one, D14Z4 mb was correct fitting yet the D16 mb was different lol, crazy. Only cost a 5er though which i was over the moon at as honda were looking at a good bit over 100 quid. Happy days

On route to some breakers soon, can anyone tell me if a non vtec engine speed sensor will be the same or not? Thanks for the help

If the pumps not priming could be the fuel pump relay? Seems to be a common fault with these even had to sort mine on my mb3. Just throwing it out there as a possibiliy bud.

That could be a huge help ill pass that onto me mate. A few people have said that v-tec will not be working due to the vehicle speed drive being broke but those saying this have had no masses of knowledge so i came to the pros .

Hey guys, this weekend my mate removed my old mb3 d15z6 engine and replaced it with a lower mile D15z6 from the hatchback. Everything was pretty much the same just the odd few bits here and there were needing swapped over eg engine mount. However i Managed to break the speedo sensor and the engine management light is coming on. Would the light come on due to the speedo not working and would that sensor stop V-tec working? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would love coilovers man 600 quid is a bit excessive when i chop and change cars so often. Will be keeping eyes peeled to any sets that appear for sale tho
