  1. Haha not middle of nowhere just a place no many people have heard of lol. Know any good places to find centre bore sizes and then which size would I be going for the civic size or what? All very new to me lol
  2. Don't know anyone with mb6 local. A mate has a mb2 but different pattern. From what I could see from Google mb6 centre is something like 56.1 and evo is apparently 67.1 so I'd be needing spigots to fill that hole.obv Google can be sketchy with their info lol. I'm located in Scottish borders near edin
  3. Sadly not mate no just got the evo wheels and a spare lol
  4. Swapped wheels round and no difference. Considering spigot rings as next port of call. However how will I know which ones I'll need. The alloys on mine are off an evo 4 so is be guessing the centre bore will prob be diff to Honda so how would I find correct measurements
  5. I'll try swap wheels round today and get back to ya on it bud.
  6. Yea a couple of people have looked at it and can't see anything wrong.
  7. Usually don't really feel it througj the wheel. It's usually through my footwell and under ma seat. No change what so ever wen we changed shaft
  8. Done the drivers shaft as majority of vibration is only through drivers side. I'll need to try swapping the wheels and see if it eliminates it. Don't think it's calipers tbh could be wrong but def wouldn't be top of the list lol
  9. Right going to bump this back up a tad, driveshaft has been changed and no difference at all. Could i be looking at gearbox maybe? Or possibly engine mounts?
  10. Right chaps looking for some advice here as all this is about to be new to me. When i got my mb6 its had an apexi VAFC controller in it and we lost the settings to what previous owner had it set up by. Now I'm heading up to AVA tuning in Glasgow, unsure if anyone on here has used them but if you have any feedback welcome, but what am i to expect? He said he has dealt with these in the past but they are less common now but he has knowledge of them and apexi products. I personally have no knowledge on the VAFC and have never took a car to one of these places so if anyone can enlighten me to what will go down, what to expect etc id appreciate it muchly. He's charging 65 an hour and reckons he could have it done within the hour. Any help welcome cheers guys.
  11. Cheers for the comments chaps How is your controller set up keys? I played about with vtec last night and set it to coming in about 2900input.but car didn't like it so set it to 4900. Not played about with any of the air ratio tho ad scared of destroying things lol. Yea i messaged him a few months ago and it was read but never replied. Hopefully he will come back and remember about it and maybe give some inpjt
  12. Yes thought I need to stop p**sing about with smaller cars and get something that has a little bit more poke. This is my first ever twin cam car and I've had about 30 motors lol. Yea not seen or heard from knight for ages. He read the post I sent him but I've not even seen him on main forum for a while.
  13. Thanks Nik I have tried messaging night a while ago but never got a reply
  14. Both parents being into cars deserves massive respect.
  15. Another maybe slightly better pic
  16. I have no knowledge on these controllers at all. If anyone reading this does including yoursel sean any knowledge would be appreciated. Its not really been set up its just running factory settings for a 4 cylinder car. More pics will def be coming once the weather allows a small window of oppertunity.
  17. Yea spec was good but i cant remember any of it lol. The guy who done the work tho done a cracking job. Im just hoping to tidy it up then add a few of my personal touches and take it from their lol.
  18. Hey chaps, not started any threads for my mb6. Have been on here for a while now whilst owning my blue mb3, but a month or two ago i went and finally got a mb6 . Not massively sure on all the spec myself lol will need to filter thriugh the receipts but been lowered on coilovers (only dampning adjustment) decat with mongoose system, BOSCH hid kit, aftermarket clutch and i think lightened flywheel, camber arms and a lot of pollybushes lol. Anyway this is her, needs back quarter and bumper sorted but thatl get done through my work, also more pics will be taken.
  19. When I had my mb3 I got a 4-2-1 for the decat and then went to my custom exhaust place and got a De cat pipe for centre section where they usually are. I got a De cat pipe made up to the same size as an ej9 civic one and sourced myself an ej9 cat for mot time. No warning lights came on and car drove like a dream.
  20. Used to work in a honda dealership so swung about in jazz's quite often. Not the fastest thing on the planet by any means, lovely to drive though and very economical. Very popular amongst the 'older' people lol.
  21. I dont get people who value their car on how much they spent on it when nobody forced them. I personally judge mine on condition, miles etc like what most sensible people do. I fully expect to lose cash on the modifications but hey thats life lol.
  22. Ahh Christ I've got a driveshaft it arrived the other day. Ya think could still be that or ya think cud be bearing same as yours?
  23. Body in the boot? Lol. Id go with tyre, mate has winter tyres on his taxi and they aren't the quietest of things.
  24. Nice one will keep it down till I get part this week.
  25. Is it still safe to drive until the repairs are done?
