The LS is just perfect! Just forget the fuel bill and enjoy, as it cost some guy £60 -70k in today's money new and I got it for under £1400 with good history! (Bangernomics at it's best!) My friend had just got a new custom exhaust fitted a month or two before he sold it to me and well...that V8 really sings and you never get tired of it's or the effortless power! That said, i'll be more likely to sell that than 'Wolfie', maybe it's because she's my first or the fact I know i'd loose all the money I've spent on her. Aiming for her to be re-tested before the 10th May to attend Banzi at Crail, not to take part though! (Did that with the LS a few weeks back) Fingers crossed!

long time no post! Sadly, 'wolf' still doesn't have an MOT(only been 6 months...), but aiming for in the next few weeks! Picture from Saturday when taking it for a quick spin around where it's being kept! In the time, I've had to use a Suzuki Cappuccino to move out of my parents house as well as my main car over the winter months! (Not idle, and scares the hell out of you!) and then ended up with a Lexus LS400 as my main car. Got a new catalytic converter today which is hopefully getting fitted this week, and hoping it'll pass the emissions by the end of next month! Here's hoping she'll be on the road again then!
-
Know exactly which ones your on about now! Hoping new sensors (or used from the scrappy) as well as a new cat will help solve the problem. At least to get the MOT done anyway... The bad news is I'm not to move house useing the Cappuccino, and use it everyday which makes rainy days interesting to say the least.
-
Is that the sensor thats in the exhaust manifold? Or on the exhaust it's self? With the SRS, i'm going to see if I can get the emmissions down first before doing it. One of my friends does have a code reader which should be able to do the job.
-
So MOT time croped up on me again, and she failed it where I expected. Only much worse than I thought... - SRS light on. Knew it'd fail on that and know why it's on. (Jumpstarted her a few months back) - Emmissions. Knew she'd fail on this as well. Hoped a service and full tank of preamuim fuel would cure that a bit. But failing at 3 times over the limit on CO and getting bang on the mark for a pass on HC's. Outch. So my options? Spend a chunk of money to try found out how the emmissions are so high? Slap a new cat on and see if any of the engine/fuel cleaner stuff works? Or the 3rd option is...well you can maybe guess that.

Honestly can't get enough of the car, and got plans for her. Nothing crazy, but all that comes after the stuff that's needed. The bad news is 'Wolf' has been left to dull duties such as being a luggage loader. But She deserves a wee brake...and also an MOT.
-
Everyone seem's to comment on the size of it or the numberplates! But Smaller ones(Front & back) are on the list of things to do after brakes & tyres! People seem to love it, and get guys asking what it is, to girl's saying how cute it is..and all laugh when they find out it's called a Cappuccino! Driving wise? single handedy the best car I've driven, taking the MR2 (AW11) we used to own off top spot. A mix of crazy handling and punchy acceleration is addictive and I've put a few cars in there place on the right road. Honestly it's like a road legal Go-kart! So it was you who liked my post on the TSG meet! It's a 660cc thats Turbocharged....giving out 63hp when new. Which considering it weighs the same as a pack of 20 JPS is quite alot! haha

Alot of you guy's seemed interested in my coffee when I mentioned it before, so here's some info and pictures on her! So a quick background on her, or "Wee B....". I fell for the car thanks to Gran Turismo 4 when I saw it thinking it has a funny name for a car (I was 12 at the time), and eventually my love for the car has grown from there. I got my car back in April and needed alot of welding (Knew to expect this). The Last MOT was done in 2007, and between then and the last MOT(Start of Sep, 14) had only covered 300 miles. What did she fail the MOT on? Sticky caliper on the o/s/r and number plate bulb. She is a 1994 car, bought in Edinburgh new and then came up Aberdeen way when the owner moved up here, and had the original owner since 2007, having covered 37,000 miles. I've got Paperwork for every MOT, service and MOT with the car, as well as owners books and the service manual and even the original dealer invoice!. She's still got alot needing done, but mechanically she's fine, and after a basic service run's smoothly. Just need new brakes(which I just need to fit) and i'll be happy. Cosmetically she need's work, with the front wings needing replaced or fiberglass repaired as quite rusty, as well as a few other bits...but overall passes the "10 steps" test. So enough talk, here's some picture's. Size comparison... Doesn't look so small from afar... The black strip on the bottom, thats to cover the primer(That you can see in the above pic), but I think it suit's her. And that's all for now, I wont post too much...I mean were all here for the Civics!

Due to where it was I can't really do anything as no houses around so no chance anyone would have seen anything, (not bothering to report it) but least it was easy to fix. But I wish whoever did it ends up with there car being written off in a simaler fashion to what happened to me! Don't think this 'Deck was a VTi, and only Honda badge on it was the 'Aerodeck' one! Only other 'Decks i've seen this way is a beat up silver one(same spec as mine), a black, a Silver and a blue one's which are all VTi's. And don't have a thread for the Cappuccino yet...haven't actually got it back from the garage yet... (this week hoping, as I keep saying)

Thanks guys! Had more mishaps over the past week... Some of you may have seen me asking on the FB page about the rear bumpers on the 'Decks. this is why. Parked the car in the opening to and old, unused quarry and me & a mate went off-roading in his Defender. Came back to find the car like this, and fair to say I was not happy. My guess is a car pulled in to let an on coming car past and clipped her or it was a tractor/trailer scuffed it while passing. What made me mad was the fact they'd just left it . I saw'd a bit of the bumper off as was just flapping about and would't stay in place, reason why such a smooth cut out of it! And for 2 days i had to drive the Clio i have... Anyway a quick look on eBay and managed to find a lamp for £20, including P&P. And I fixed the bumper the with the drifters friend... Not in a rush for a bumper really, as money's now going to the other car(the Cappuccino, more on soon!). Also, last Monday I was tailing another 'Deck in the center of Aberdeen, silver car, nice exhaust and original alloys, looked a young guy! If your on here and see this, I approve!

Got the Miester's last July when there was a group deal here. Had nothing to do and was too early to have a drink so needed something to kill the time. I'll be lowering her again soon, be it for the next big car meet up my way or next spring. That said, I did say I'd be raising the car last September, so expect 2016 or so...
-
Been awhile again since i was last one. No big updates really, other than I'm missing my left fog lamp cover (hit a rabbit while doing 70), got a new rocker cover gasket and... Finally got round to raising it. (Sitting at around 9 threads higher all round) Plus side is I don't have to worry about most speed bumps, down side is the cornering sometimes feels like a lump of butter moving about on a frying pan if you corner too fast. Considering getting new tyres on the original alloys and removing the yellow tint on the head lights. But I'll see how things go!
-
I've had it on since last week. It's off until a few seconds after I start moving, then lights up. Often the next day that it's off and the the same happens. Putting it down to a sensor not working anymore giving the age & mileage. But got till October to resolve it...
-
I'm running them on my MC1, fantastic is all I can say! Had them on for a year and have been great, even after just changing the tyres the car felt more grippy! And more so after i got my coilovers fitted.
-
After the timing, the exhaust and the car has been raised a little bit. Knockhill has bits that are steeper than they look to the eye. (And Im not talking about the speed bump when entering the track grounds! ) - I've been quite for a little bit(Again), and not much has really happened other than the ABS light has come on and I'm finally getting a new rocker cover gasket. The ASB light doesn't seem to be a problem as nothing seems different, and ABS still kicks in fine. So guessing its just the sensor has given up the ghost? (got till October to get it sorted for the MOT...). just add's another light to the 'Warning light bingo' for the time being. The rocker cover gasket has been needing replaced for about a year, slowly leaking oil out and being summer its much worst, carrying a bottle of oil in the car just to be safe after a day of driving in the hot sun...on the plus side I'e marked my parking space at my new flat, but the neighbors may not agree on that. Still waiting for my Coffee to be finished, a bit of welding turned into alot...so once I've got that on the road I'll finally get the timing done! !00% mean it this time as well!

I'd had all the jokes & comments. All I can say is it's a great knob to grasp hold of and the extra size definitely better... - On my way home today from work... Seeing it roll over to 100,000 made me more excited than it has any right to! Heres to much, much more added on top of that!
-
Happy to see everyone likes it. Seems to be a car everyone likes, and only hate has been when someones said its slow & rubbish and I've told them it'll eat there car alive on the right road. (That said, its not hard to beat a chav in a 1.2 Corsa D when useing a mobility scooter!) Car needed alot of welding where they normally do, so that's all getting sorted as well as a few other things, but hopefully have it all done by the end of the month! So Should hopefully put the thread up for it when ive actually got it to drive, but until then this is for my 'Deck Wolf. - I said a few post's back about the new gear knob I got, so I though I'd post a picture... It's the 'DeathTune' one from ZillaLife. (Currently out of stock for Hondas). Made from Aluminium, and cost more than I would actually normally spend on something I never actually needed. But Got to say it looks nice and has a good feel to it. Even worth it for all the jokes I get...(you can no doubt guess the style of them all).

Will get one up once it's all fit & reday and in my driveway.

The dream car may seem odd, and not top of every 20 year old's list...the Suzuki Cappuccino: Get it picked up tomorrow as well as put threw its MOT where it should(hopefully) just fail on the rusted sills, and then have it by Friday once that's been sorted. I've had a thing for these for about 8/9 years, and become a kind of obsession over that time.I wont post too much here as this is for 'Wolf' though. So may add a thread in the other projects part soon.
-
I don't have any pictures of mine, but managed to fit a dubble bed, a chest of draws and a wardrobe(all in the packaging, not assembled) as well as a ton of stuff like clothes and food. Only had to drive a mile as helping a friend move into there new house. But fun to see how much it could actually take in the thing! Before I lowed it had to use it to haul stuff like turf, dirt, cut trees and grass up to the local tip. Since they now have speed humps there it's no longer the 'Decks job! It's not the deck, but I managed to fit a half wrecked kitchen & the kitchen sink into a Mk2 Clio...
-
Once I'm able to, will be adding a Civic5 sticker to the window. I've decided that I wont be doing the MG front end swap now. I'm happy with the way the car is and other than a new exhaust (to stop scraping) that'll be everything. Other than making sure she's running at top health and such. The reason for that is I've finally bought one of my dream cars after 9 years, and will be working on that for a while. (but don't worry, I'm keeping the 'Deck! )
-
Have been planning to get that done when I get it put in for the timing to be done.(Which will be soon, well I keep planning to get it done) - Though I'd add some more reasent pictures i took from over the past month: The 'Window of Win'... And the new filler cap... Got the cap off the 'Deck I got the seats out of, and fancied a change of sticker.(still have the original cap at hand though) Also got a new gear knob, which I don't have photos of at hand. It's the ZillaLife 'death Tune' one!
-
Turned out it was none of the above, turned out to be a seized caliper on the off side. Good news is that I've sorted it for the time being, as well as having a new set of pads in today. Went for a drive round the country back roads for about a hour and no sign of the squeeking noise. But decided I'm going to get new/referb calipers soon as well as new disc's while i'm planning the timing belt. All fit and reday, can't wait to bring her to the meet in Dalkeith now!

Like others have said, the new Estate(Aerodeck sounds much better) in type-R trim would be great. And considering a Mr.Shedden & Mr.Neal are driving a 'Deck in the BTCC, we can surely hope!
