  1. thanks matey. Yeah I will let them know about the site. really nice guys on here and some very very nice cars.
  2. I found it pretty straight forward, it wasn't too rusty under there, and was literly two bolts. there are a few pipes you have to unclip and move around with a little persuading, but once the straps are unbolted, it's just a matter of moving it about until it drops. I would say though, if you snap the threads on the bots or twist the straps ect, then putting back in might be some agro so be ready maybe for having the car out of action if that happends for a day while you get replacements. I was lucky, but I did also spray with tons of wd40 I use a walbro 255 pump
  3. No selling or advertising on civic5 unless you are a paid up member Edit Mod
  4. was good to meet you today. car looks great
  5. no updates.. Been really busy with work, been looking for some cheap buckets, some wheels, should I get wheels repainted, was going to buy some white lenso rs5's today, but changed my mind on the drive to motorway lol. then went to buy some toyos for it all round, but didnt have my locket nut, its in my other car and I see it there yesterday thinking, I should take this out.. just really been working and driving it to and from bluewater/lakeside every couple of nights. Raced a TVR on the motorway the other day..... he will be taking that back to the showroom for a refund i'm sure. And best of all, a guy in a MK5 Golf GTI with a "vtect this sticker, you know the one, middle finger up... he put it on me last night as soon as I pulled out of my road, so I decided to stalk him until the car was warmed up, and then we found ourselves on a stretch of road off a roundabout. I expected him to go round and slow and wait for me to get round too, but he floored it and I heard him change into 3rd, and I thought, hahahahahaha I wont have to change until at least halfway up that road, your f**ked... and he was. it was humiliation. I wanted to get out and peel his sticker off lol.. anyway, all that was within the laws of our great land. no speeds broken of unsuitable driving. South Mimms on sunday, looking forward to that. mine will be tucked well away and hidden lol, its like Frankenstein right now, just looks tatty ect.. and the last mimms the cars there were real nice.. clean, looked after well modded hondas. anyone going?
  6. Got a t-peice and comes off the oil pressure switch at back of block
  7. no matey, from Kent. Kit was from Yorkshire. right, today I did the cam cover and strut. Mrs came home early from work sick, and decided she wasnt sick enough not to get involved and take over. Here are some pics. I think its going to be one of them, you either love or hate it colours
  8. here is pic. Going to paint rocker cover now...well, going to get the paint and stuff to paint. I will decide on colour when im there.. excuse the horrific boost gauge. This I got yesterday as I didnt have one and after finding the hole in charge pipe, I need something until I get a good set of gauges
  9. no, I was going to today, but the bit I need to cut is at my parents house and I was being lazy. So bumper on passenger side still not right. I polished the headlight on that side today as it was orangey. looks great now, matches the other side lol... little things. Oh, and I sold my spare evo injectors and a turbo manifold I had. The guy was suppose to come around to collect it but I thought he blew me out, so I went to lakeside. He called me while I was there and by luck, I had the stuff in the boot, and he lived in gravesend, on the way home. so stopped by and sold the goods.. and then ended up buying this from him for £30 lol came off a CRX, so no idea if it even fits haha
  10. looks and sounds amazing! great job. Keep looking at EG's and thinking about putting my engine in one, this thread doesnt help lol.. so nice
  11. It is low. Its really meant for drag use. I got it with the intention of buying a ramhorn manifold in short while. But the td05, intercooler and pipework, fuel pump, injectors ecu with chip (and a map) was worth the price really. Seen a guy selling a manifold for around 400, but gf has put foot down lol.. it can wait. No idea about power, 300 id like to think. The kit is a racetech. But soon it will be anything but. This just got the ball rolling
  12. I was thinking about this last night when I went to bed. Should I keep it really standard looking. I need to do something with that front bumper, but Inot sure what, and still keep it standardish looking. so many ideas, just one car lol
  13. I will put some up tomorrow night. I found about 2 hours ago, sitting in my living room and being restless, I went out to tidy the injector wires and resistors. and just by chance, see that the intercooler exit pipe had a slit in it. like an angle grinder has been at it by mistake. I never spotted that when I put it on, so it's had a boost leak since ive had it.. not cool! and im lucky to be fair. I have put some epoxy putty over it and then some duct tape wrapped over that until I can sort it out. gash up I know, but I have really been lucky. talking about being restless, I have the day off tomorrow, and they come few and far between recently. So I am thinking maybe paint calipers. Then when doing the wires earlier, and then thinking about the water bottle. I might clean up the bay too. take the strut brace off and repaint, and degrease and clean as much as I can. I have a spare rocker cover I was going to paint, but now, I need a colour theme. what do I go with? Someone suggested, purple wheels, bright yellow calipers.. Then maybe I can paint the rocker yellow?
  14. mid next month I think.I went to the Oct one last year, it was a really good turn out. not a show, I know but were some really nice hondas on display.
  15. I was going to go to japfest in my Accord type r, but it broke and I was on holiday. last min thing. so gutted I missed that. I think for sure I am at Mimms and my bro in this will be there too. so maybe that?
  16. im sure it wont end up like that again.. That was just bad timing and lazyness from him.. just seen your not that far from me, im in Medway. not a million miles away, you going to any shows?
  17. few more pics and a vid http://s51.photobucket.com/user/evo7driver/media/20130630_131022.mp4.html http://s51.photobucket.com/user/evo7driver/media/20130630_130739.mp4.html
  18. Ahh yeah, totally forgot about mentioning that. Right now I dont have one. The standard one is HUGE. So need to work out how im going to do it. Might relocate a smaller one in the boot. Or where the airbox was. Not sure yet. It does go well, my bros ep3 was just a joke lol. Nothing else really has been around to play with. Which I guess is a good thing.
  19. It was mapped to another B18c4 and all the bits, I bought and put on to this. so yes its mapped but not to my personal B18c4. It does need to be mapped, just to be 100% sure it wont fail or melt a piston. I have heard a few pops from exhaust, but not whitnessed flames yet lol. and bumper doesnt look like its been on fire haha. I found it easy enough, as I work on cars all day anyway, so it's hard to say what it would be like for a novice, but in my opinion, the kit I got with all the bits that required no messing about, if your able to do brakes and change and exhausts and have half a clue, this is doable.
  20. In all honesty, if you have the right bits, its all bolt on stuff. And id say 2k is a fair price if your going to do it right and make it reliable. And ues its alot for a cheap car. The only reason I did it was id never done a turbo build before, always wanted to and this came up at great price. Exhaust should be ok so long as its not in danger of burning a pedestrian id the walk past or some rubbish like that. It didnt take ling at all and has deffo got me interested in doing something like this again.
