  6. Would kill for a set of bronze wheels tbh but seems to be like finding hens teeth
  7. I know dude its just the hassle of getting them powder coated etc then taking them to get the wheels fitted
  8. AAAAAAA Nikh was god enough to point me in the direction of these but im in desperate need of finding wheels and tyres together
  9. Will check them out just now cheers for confirming
  10. Thanks for all the help so far guys - quick one regarding DC2 wheels can see majority of answers to do you need spacers is yes but I have saw a few that say no can anyone confirm?
  11. Cheers for the info guys I think 16s are probably the way forward Nick I will check your thread ASAP Dude at work the now so on and off in stealth mode Could possibly have a set of Advans in the mix but the tyres are 205/45 these be OK on these cars or are they to big? I use to run 205s on my Scooby and they were great.
  12. I thought that myself standard ride height wouldn't look to good with 17s but once lowered be OK never knew that offset was OK standard though thanks. What about moving down the rim sizes to 16 is the ET still OK to be something like that and could probably lower without rolling arches? Down the line it is something I will probably do anyway but as you know im in need for wheels now lol
  13. Yo Dudes, Trying to find a new set of wheels for my car need them ASAP would by new but I keep getting put off by conflicting stories regarding our cars offset on the MB6. I have gathered the stranded is 55 so my question is on a 15-16 or 17 inch rim what is the lowest offset I could for? Car isn't lowered yet and I would like to keep acceleration so am thinking 15 or 16s are a good choice just cant seem to find an I like but when I do I get shot down because of the offset one set was 40ET on the front and 38 on the back 17 inch 7J Any help would be appreciated guys,
  14. Cant believe your breaking this mate this was the first build there I read when I joined and it gave some inspiration. Havent read the last few pages but would you sell the spoiler lip skirts and your fancy harness bar/floor brace?

lol you would be shocked mate MB6 on fuel is a hell of a lot better. No just that though think of tyres etc as well being AWD.

Cheaper to insure dude but by no means cheaper to fix if the engine went pop you'd be better of selling up and buying a turbo 2000 and there is virtually no difference in fuel dude all my mates had turbo Scoobies and honestly the difference was minimal buy a Turbo if you can stretch it matey sports are good if your young and insurance is s**t like it was for me but if you can insure a Turbo for similar money do that as you cant get and decent power out the non turbo engine without charging it even then it isn't breath-taking.

Had one for years and still own it yet don't run it anymore no tax or MOT - Was on 40k when I got mine and it currently sits at around 96K now engine still going strong but I think the gearbox was starting to develop an issue but in all honestly the car never failed to start first time every time no matter what. Look out for rust though killer as fook on these usual arches. If serviced and looked after no issues at all be weary what engine you get though as the Sport parts are a lot dearer :s Think mines was an EJ201 engine and the difference in price compared to an EJ20 engine part was horrific I felt robbed lol suspension is easy sorted with aftermarket stuff much like everything else. Only things I kept breaking where lamda sensors and wheel bearings. Make sure there is no whines off the diff or anything either if there is don't get it diff and gearbox are matched parts so either one being f**ked you will need a new matching box and diff. The AWD is awesome with the person behind the wheel and a few suspensions mods plus alignment you can keep up with standard wrx's on the twistys easily. Fuel wise they aren't great depending on what one you get though my sport had a close ratio box with shorter gearing this is basically to compensate for the lack of turbo power Not sure what the other trims like the GL use but yeah short ratio box fuel wasn't the best by any means especially when you are booting it - The MB6 returns much better fuel economy if driven to do so. Awesome cars though love mine was my daily before I got the MB6...oh well onwards and upwards
  19. Agreed mate at least for a bit less I can go brand new
  20. Thanks guys I will go for Japseed
  21. Just wondering if anyone has any advice on what 4-2-1 mani to go for any of the below any good/fit my MB6. Looking to start getting my exhaust done bit by bit and after some talk seems the headers are the best place to start. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-CIVIC-B16-B18-B-SERIES-92-00-VTEC-4-2-1-STAINLESS-STEEL-EXHAUST-MANIFOLD-/181062504843?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Model%3ACivic&hash=item2a282a918b http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-CIVIC-CRX-DEL-SOL-B16-B18-4-2-1-STAINLESS-STEEL-MANIFOLD-/181274503870?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2a34cd6abe http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JDM-TANABE-4-2-1-Header-Integra-Type-R-Civic-VTi-CRX-SiR-dc2-ek4-ef8-spoon-mugen-/331069463430?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4d15471b86
