  1. Been a nightmare week lol discovered a puddle in the boot One of the locating lugs on the drivers rear was leaking so sealed it poured water over car seemed sealed Drove the car in the rain puddle was back Drivers side dry now looks like i missed a much smaller but big enough lol leak on the passanger side so thinking leason learnt , sealed everything that comes through the body both sides Drove the car in the rain puddle was back This time ive sealed around both boot hinges, rear washer jet grommet, both sides where the gutters runinto tail gate surround (the origional factory sealant was way past its best little gaps on close inspection at gutter ends and the sealant around the hinges was just lifting away ......... learning my leason ive even sealed around the rear windows (thankfully done a good job and looks pretty factory) Then painted all sealant with touch up paint so only time will tell, if its still leaking the roof rails will come off next as even with my bore scope cant see it drip but i can see it at various points so know its from high up Looks to have been on the go for a long time with rusty bits behind one of the boot pocket lining and in wheel well which ive sorted aswell
  2. So the parcelforce van arrived delivering my midspoiler from a vtis and it was in one piece lol only taped on just to see then i got cracking with the sub enclosure, just need to build something similar for the other side to house the amp parts as it was originally an all in one combo but it was huge will upload pics later as keep getting a error messge about servers or something

  8. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/For-Mercedes-Benz-W164-97-05-Clear-Lens-Pair-Bumper-Fog-Light-Replacement-/253609629396?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0 Civic used them as a aftermarket accessory, same for nissan skyline r34 gtrs lol but luckily for us these were std fit on mercs. Ever more luckily for me the americans love these merc suv's so have made readily available aftermarket copies. Only difference i can forsee is going to be changing of the electrical plug and should be good to go
  9. Only thing they dont come with is a rubber outer sleve the civic uses but if your retro fitting to your space you wont need it as you could cut your surround to the correct outside diameter Bottom pic is civic rubber surround on new fog lamp
  10. Found after a shed ton of digging a cheap source of replacement larger oem style size fitment ect of the larger front fog lamps , one of mine was rusted and leaking in water so these should freshen up the front end
  11. Question for you active forum users ........ would you consider it too off the wall or a slight touch of genuis to wrap the black surround of my grill with leather effect vinyl wrap to match the interior Sick of it chipping and have this wrap laying around
  12. Once its dried and polished i recon the color match will be pretty dam close
