kyekye09 Posted January 8, 2013 Author Share Posted January 8, 2013 the way i look at it my car was a shed(with great service history and a box full of receipts) when i got it 3 and a bit years ago i think i have done a not to shabby job of bringing her back not perfect but on her way.... so i might aswell enjoy her a little longer. and it was nothing to do with the car i was wanting rid think it was the constant let downs by so called professionals that really got to me (an engine builder that took 6 months to put a block guard in a bare block and port match my manifolds to the race head) so i pulled the plug at £4.5k and i thought by selling up id recoup some of my cash Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
S4DAM Posted January 8, 2013 Share Posted January 8, 2013 Are you keeping it then Rob?dont take the pi55 i just about sold it last week to some grease ball ned chav with balls in his mouth...... got it checked over by the AA car passed with flying colours and was coming back with a bankers draft the next day and i paniced i felt sick that this wee muppet was going to wreck MY car .....!!!!!!! so went on the phone to the boss man DAVE while being under the influence of quite alot of stella(man with so much wisdome but no common sence or hair ) and long story short i pulled out told the guy thanks but no thanks cars not for sale so yes im keeping the albino slug and getting the body and mechanicals upto 110% call it ocd but i dont carethats the spirit, it's alright i think we all go through the blues of thinkin of selling up. we need stickers that say "built and cant be bought"Good glad you did not sell mate would of been such a shame..
