johngreen537
So unwrapped my bonnet!!! Wanted to go glossy black!Thought while the wrap was off, I'd show you how bad the paint really is on it!The BIG pinky patches AREN'T bad light / flash, but actually MASSIVE patches of lacquer peel! From the right angle, it doesn't look 'too' bad!But from the wrong angle, it's bloody shocking! Now you can see why I couldn't wait to get teh wrap on in the first place Now, for the glossy part Looks good! And shiney!BUT! The none carbon wrap is SOOOOOO thin, you can see EVERY blemish of the paintwork under the wrap! It's vile! Now, not 100% what I'm gonna do! either strips it back to metal and wrap the bare metal, or just re carbon it. Re-Carboning it looks like the easiest option, but, I really like the gloss look! Or maybe buy a NHB Bonnet! Also, just bought some new roofing fabric, watch this space for a roof / door card retrim in Suede / Alcantara
