RS1T Posted September 12, 2011 Author Share Posted September 12, 2011 Just as I hit my 100 posts, and was considering joining as a 5member, disaster.Went to the MOT centre, and the repair bill was £1200 for:All four shocks leakingBoth anti roll bars snappedBoth rear calipers seizedLeaking sumpSuspension bushes goneSidelightWhat's more the keys were stolen from me and I have reason to believe the thieves know where I live and where the car is kept...So sadly she's been sold, for the measly sum of £400. Really feel gutted, after all the work I did. Thought I'd actually made some progress turning a tired old minicab into something great I could enjoy but in the end it's just a tired old minicab and nothing's gonna change that. To be honest, I think I'm lucky I even got £400 for it and not £50 from a scrap dealer.So for now, it's farewell to civic5...My parents sold me their Mazda6 so I'm a mazda man for the time being.
