Guest raymondo
Hi Guys, my names Ray and im from Bristol!Ive recently got my hands on a Civic, now ill be the first to admit i know F all about these things. Truth be told im more into vw's , im currently using this car as a stop gap between selling my mk4 golf and waiting for my bora 1.8t to be ready to drive. Now if your still reading this and havent decided to click close on your browser (i wouldont blame you) ill give you some information on the car, or what i think i know!1997 R Reg Civic mb3?? 1.5 eco v-tec91k one owner from newIts got a/c and front fogs so im guessing its not a standard poverty spec?I got it complety standard off a old lady, with a fresh mot and tax for stupid cheap. it feels like 4th and 5th gear have never been used!!I Fixed a few niggles on it, loose drivers seat torq bolts had come out, rattling exhaust so i cut the heat shelds off, washed it 2 bucket methord, machine compound, polish, glaze and wax. with that done i thought i need to drop it, even if it was a bit, i hate boating around! So i got some fk coilovers and slaped on a set of ats cup wheels i had lying about, then sprayed the front grille matt black. Dropped it low, and thats it. i dont really plan to do much else to it, im due to get the bora end of this week but i think ill still keep the civic for a while for the pure fact of its just fun!!I Only got a couple of pictures from just after i fitted the wheels and coilovers, if or when the weather picks up ill grab a couple morethanks for looking! Guest raymondo
thanks dude, paintwork aint tooooo bad, no stonechips which really shoccked me, few dints around the car and passenger looks like its been hit by somthing, otherwise for a 16yr old car shes pretty damm good! Krzys
Looks alright that does! If it's cheap enough you may as well keep hold of her as a runaround!

Guest raymondo
i did drive the 1.8, thats what made me decide to buy one as a runaround just seemed like a bit of cheap honest fun!i bought this car for £350 with 91k, spent £300 (coilovers & tyres) and it just puts a smile on my face everytime i drive it! I Love my vw's but bearing in mind for £1000 you will struggle to get a tidy mk4 (golf, bora) with less than 100k on it. then you got to spend quite a bit on getting them looking good, then you wouldont want to put your foot down in it! Its took me months to find a tidy vw 1.8t. It took me 2 days to find a civic!
