Yep its no good. I took a friend out without saying anything, to guage the reaction.just got a "what the hell is that noise"

Gutted.

maybe time to put a faithfull s9b back in and get one built correctly :idea:

yes i see what your saying. this is becoming an absolute joke.

i cant even drive the car, its embarrasing. sounds like an absolute nail. i feel like taking it to the scrap yard right now and be done with it.

but one thing is for sure.. an s9b is never going anywhere near that car again. they feel so sluggish.

dont know what to say. im not going to drive it. it can rot outside my house until these guys come up with another box.

edited. My coilovers turned up. The neighbours had em. Blimey they are a bit crusty. Think the fact they covered 10k might have been a little fib. But don't seem to be leaking. So bit of a clean up and happy days

That's just more money. My original s9b was faulty too. Wish I'd kept the y21 with a sticky 3rd.

It will get there. Just the phrase money pit springs to mind. And to think i was gonna scrap this car but decided to save it.

Sorry to moan just feeling a bit low about it at the min.

Few bits to do tomorow tho. Front brakes. And I've got a hawk remote central locking kit. Should be fun. Maybe check out fitting front coilies too if got time.
