But maybe stupidly I have decided to repair everything and do some upgrades along the way!

No, good choice! I can't understand how many good m's meet the breaker in over there! Would be a shame to see your ride go into bits. Glad you found a new box, let us know how it improves the driving. Been thinking about a s80 but always good to keep eyes open for cheaper options...

I hope she doesn't let me down now that's all. I'm going to get her dynoed tomorow to make sure she's healthy still. Then I'll try and service in the week. I do it every 3k miles so certainly should be healthy. Got this in the post today so will try it out tonight.

filter is now cleaned. my god it was pretty grubby. shocked me infact.

but think it paid off.

dynodaze did her a power run today more of a health check than anything else.. very happy now.

now that the dyno has been calibrated to BHP instead of PS, they converted my previous run to 167.9 BHP at 8200ish RPM

today it made bang on 170 BHP at 7815 RPM.

so overall im really chuffed the graph was a nice incline too.

so full steam ahead now with replacing everything that is bothering me and maybe squeeze a few more ponies out if funds allow.
