Well been on the hunt for another MPG bruiser, instead of my MA8, which doenst quite cut it. It was an ongoing thing in the background, nothing major. I was torn between a VW Bora and a MB3 1.5eco.

Thankfully Ive not gone down the dirty barge route!

Its Baikal Green B86P 99 Civic MB3 1.5 Eco. I really like this colour.

100k full service history MOT and Tax.

Fully stock, well i lie it has a pipercross panel filter that ive just put in, as a part of my full checking over and servicing of it.

I shall be poaching some goodies from the MA8 to make the best of both and then selling the MA8 as a whole complete car fully working later in the year.

So after the mechanicals are sorted, onto the paintwork, as i dont roll with a scratchy car!

Before

Detailing - Cleaned before, clayed, corrected, then it rained! So i shall finish off another day with another clean polish and wax.

Thats a bit better. Notice the square on the passenger front door, i left for giggles, ill sort that later, but i cant believe how noticeable it is.

Correct, the Ma8 had vti s half leather, which will go in here, the grey interior that it originally had will go back in. Leaving this cream set surplus. The Ma8 is stripped currently inside, awaiting a free moment to do continue with that, will have to be the weekend now. plus the Rover rims and tyres, and sound setup.

Good eye, nothing but the Belgium finest, Leffe Ruby!

  • 3 weeks later...

Update, ok so that was the exterior sorted out, now for the interior!

Swap time: half leather interior, belts, brackets, trim and rims from the MA into the the MB.

Both together

Rims swapped, and sneaky 3mm spacer on the rear. This makes the MB rear track match the MA, which appears wider as standard.
