When to replace distributor cap and rotor?

Why iridium? I prefer a good platinum tip spark plug.

A lot cheaper and you can change them more often. Around £10-15 per set.

 

Well i think you just answered yourself, if you like changing plugs like why not platinum :wink:.

Iridium will also burn through your piston if the tip breaks off too if im not mistaken.

I think you're boned if you get to that point anyway aren't you?

If you out your ear on top of the dizzi it's rattling. Wonder whether something's snapped off maybe.

Will investigate when there's a break in the weather. Drives fine, but it's quite annoying lol.

Didn't know whether anyone may have had it before.

I change the dizzy cap when i change the spark plugs every year. Cheap enough I use a blue print one £9 part or a £195 dizzy when it goes for not changing the cap. And never use iridium spark plugs Hondas hate them and all high rev cars do. there crap I had two snap on me lucky they didn't damage my pistons. I used the standard ngk with no problems.
