I bought this car to be the sensible family wagon. I love low cars! My last accord was low on bc coilovers and became inpractical for driving the family around, scraping on every speed bump etc lol I do miss it though.

I will be fitting mgzs suspension when it arrives and will see how she sits after that. Not had the car long but will keep tinkering away:)

Gorgeous, OEM++. :DB)

  • 2 weeks later...

Finally recieved my mgzs shocks after being messed around with the ebay seller. I set about giving them a quick clean down. Spoke nicely to a supervisor of the site im working on and aksed if i could have use of one of their ramps today :) made life so much easier! Only ran into two bolts that caused a problem,both on the driverside. Came off no bother once heated with the oxy actylene :) apart from that it was pretty straightforward. Car sits nice now,wee bit higher at the front but i have spare front forks im going to mod to get the front end down abit more. Heres some pics....

That does sit a little high on the front, hopefully the forks will sort that.

Yeah I think it should. I did have a boot full if tools and the old shocks I took off. Just need to get time and get the forks on the milling machine or il maybe cut them with a grinder but I'd rather mill them. Il also blast them and give them a lick of paint too :)

That is a lot of weight.

Will sit well once front forks are sorted/tools removed from boot lool! :)

Hoping so mate, will get onto modding the forks this week. Shouldn't be hard to change now as I cleaned and copper slipped all the bolts I removed.

They drive well for such a cheap upgrade don't they! :-)

Yeah so far they seem really good! Not really pushed it but it just feels more stable yet still comfortable and speed bumps are not a problem :)
