Alignment setup

Got MeisterR coilovers and adjustable camber arms on my civic so now need it setting up. Went to a place today after being told they can aligne it for me but when they saw the car they said they couldn't do it as it was lowered even though I already told them it was. They would only set it to factory settings aswell which defeates the point in having everything adjustable.

Was wondering what other people on here have done and has anyone got a print out of their alignment settings so i have something to go off. Im trying to achive a fast road and occasional track day set up.

Any ideas?

Not necessarily though. The car being lowered factory settings would be way off. So having the adjustable gear on. Factory settings would be more achievable.

All this fast road setup is a load of crap to me.

Just get it aligned factory setting.

Hate to go against you Jake, I disagree. A correct set up, camber, toe etc can completely transform the feel of a car. I have mine done at performance Autoworks near me, a jap specialist and she handles absolutely amazingly.

May be the wheels are non oem and offset is changed then may have problems.<17s OZ racing>

Adjusted my rear so just missed my slightly rolled arches so not to rub.

Getting one of these in the post Tuesday to do some settings on the "S"  will be handy for the future calibrations

Worth it my opinion mate. Not even that much more costly, most places will charge 60-70 quid for a 4 wheel alignment, my pace charge 80 + vat for their custom setup.

Grant have you got adjustable camber arms on yours? I need to get mine done in the next week or two as I've noticed I'm wearing the inside edge on the rear tyres and I need to know if I need to buy adjusters to get them sitting straight again.

I also agree with you on this when I had it tracked I had it done with a slight toe in and the turn in is much better like that. :)

I don't mate. But need to. I was lucky in the fact that the camber on the front and rear were equal 1.8 on the fronts and something stupid like 3.5 on the rear. But they're the same side to side. I will although suffer from what you've just said, I will suffer from excessive inside wear.

Sounds like I'd better get some ordered then.
