What! How did you manage to do that in a 1.4.

V_t_ec didn't kick in, ever.

That's another thing that makes me laugh, people's misconceptions of the various VTEC systems. Everyone seems to think it does the same thing across the range of engines...

So this weekend with the help of my older brother and use of the garage he works in I have checked over the car. It occasionally hesistate/hiccups on part throttle, seems worse when cold/warming up but does it when warm too.

I have checked the plugs, which look used but okay, coil packs which are fine, timing chain which is tight as it should be, timing is spot on too. Also plugged it into a diagnostic machine in case of any stored codes (No EML showing) and there were none.

So I'm happy for now there's not any thing major causing it but alas I am none the wiser to why she does it but I'll have to leave it until it becomes more obvious as there's no point replacing parts without knowing if they will cure it.

So with that I set about fitting an S2000 filter to her, it's lovely on tap! :D

Quick couple of clips, excuse the rev limiter, despite it being dry, the Toyo's do not grip well. My younger brother is also terrible at filming it seems, despite being a camera man
