  1. i have a lot of potential doing what mate? its not as hard as it looks, first time taking the engine apart on my own and it all seems to be going ok so far though!! just take your time and do your research

  2. Funny thing is, the bulb I used (orange with opposite pins) doesn't actually exist! Only orange with offset pins do! You have to either buy em off eBay, or paint a clear bulb yourself. Halfords and the like don't sell them. Luckily Silvertec appear to know this and make their bulbs with opposite pins too for people like us with modified indicators.

  3. so tonight antics was fitting the valves. brand new GENUINE valve stem seals. inlet side done!! Inlet side in all done!! took me about 3 hours to get everything done, cleaned and done everyone carefully and making sure everything is sat properly as it should as it's the first time for me fitting these on my own

  9. Nowt wrong with that, the newest ones are pushing 15 yrs old and going on 12k a year, 180k is average miles, mine is a late X/2000 plate, and is pushing 189k, I did 650 miles in it last weekend!
