Thanks guys im over the moon with the results did you machine polish yours hick

well i have finally detailed my car i got the rest of my detailing products together i started with a strong wash with dish soap then hit the lower half with bilthamber clay (using the suds as a lube) next up was iorn x even the yeard bleed and that is how she stood after that in the garage being dryed with le cheap a*s bath towel this part was nerv recking as i had no experience with a machine polisher but i finally built up the courage and for some 50/50's craptastic phone after the first stage of polishing she looked like this and after the final stage and with one coat of wax (i gave it two coats with 4/5 in between) ill get better pix soon with a pro camera im shocked at how amazingly smooth the paint came out, its like a new car

if you have a dslr you could use the exposure meter to test the light coming through
