  1. Thanks mate, bodywork is pretty good for the age really and the worst bits were hidden by the rain. Door cards definitely need doing as passenger ones are peeling and the cam cover is peeling badly too but these will be done soon, cheap improvements.
  2. Thanks mate, yeah pretty happy really. Torque curve is good, car is healthy, all's well.
  3. £23 posted mate! Yeah, I was cleaning mine in the rain this lunchtime. Luckily I could put it in the garage after to dry and wax up.
  4. Thanks mate, feels good, slight rattle now due I think to the fact we had to pull the system forwards about 10mm to meet up with the mani. I'll put up with it for a while though as it's only at about 1500rpm. Wrap smells a bit at the moment but feels more responsive and a smoother too. you done a ecu reset??? that will help No mate, didn't think it would make a difference, maybe do it next week sometime just for the hell of it but it's running so beautifully smooth at the moment and if it ain't broke...
  5. Not really, no, I'm hoping for some torque improvement, guess I'll find out Sunday.
  6. Wrap smells a bit at the moment but feels more responsive and a smoother too.
  7. Finally fitted my manifold tonight, cheers again to Jonnyricer. Yes I know, cam cover will be done soon.
  8. It really depends on the job and what could potentially go wrong as I have to have my car on the road, pads, discs, valve adjustments no problem but wouldn't do timing belt.
  9. Some great work done so far, 5 stud hub upgrade is a great idea, loads more wheel options available.
  10. Go green, red one looks a bit too
  11. That looks better, sits really nice now, tyres tucked in. What springs are they?? Did you measure before and after to get the drop? Both cars looking super
  12. I would have it set up on the rollers personally. Then you know exactly what you've got.
  13. Thanks guys, I did want a DAB radio but they all came with CD players which is a bit redundant really. Krzys, I'll try and remember about the washer also but the old memory ain't.... ...what was I saying.
  14. Yeah, that's annoying, I'll replace it one day. Cheers Thanks, Camskill are good, great prices, credit to Simpo for the original recommendation. i going to do a thrend on a collection of my fav m project pitcures soon and this eill be one Thanks James, means a lot. that's a good idea btw maybe wait until you sort your 5membership, it could make a good comp.
  15. Preparations for next week have begun, so far this week the wheels have been off and scrubbed, inside the arches cleaned. Door shuts cleaned, car hoovered (well, dysoned ) interior shined up. Washed again today (absolutely filthy again ) polished, waxed, trim blacked, glass cleaned. and I thought I'd join the current trend for co-stars. Now for my excuses as to why the car may be covered in dust again next week, this is what my road looks like at the moment. The Gas board would choose this week to dig up the road and the top of the road was supposed to have been tarmaced last week which would finally cut down some of the dust. I'm just hoping that I'll be able to get in my driveway this week and they don't decide to work Saturday again like yesterday which is why the car was so filthy again.
  16. Thanks guys, I'm well happy with it, I was looking for a mechless one with a DAB radio but can't get both yet so had to decide, then I saw this one and decision made, I love a good gadget.
