ok thought i would post about the drive so far and should sum it up . i thought she drove 100% before but now shes a monster and i like it only bad point is it takes longer to warm up now and with that i have got a flat spot at about 5000 rpm untill the thermostat opens but apart from that it feels like she has grown an extra pair ov legs and realy takes off now the clutch is a hand full at times but iv got use to it one day it bites at the bottom then the next day its at the top ? also the new polly bushes i changed on the gear linkage has put preasure on the uv joint and worn the bushing out there so thats my next job . apart from a few teething problems im very happy now next is to lower her and new seats also wind deflectors and a few other bits and bobs

yes they look smart for those that want to make 1 its easy.... take your lip off.. get some card ... make a template... and get a 3mm aluminium sheet..use to the template to make your winglets... job done check out my build thred below iv made a double strutt bar and a few other things that mite interest you if theres owt you like i can talk you through it

iv run v power before and not seen any improvement until the last few litres so i thought i would try the 20 turns and hay pressto so iv done it ever since pluss it only takes 20 seconds ish

it will have mate you will notice the car will be abit smoother up the revs also it will idle a bit smoother . Honestly felt the same in all perameters lol. And 20 turns, thats dedication lol at £1.48 a liter i even pump my tyres up to correct preasure

spot on mate but wait untill the fan kicks in after replacing the fuses then shut it down this will allow for the fuel trim to set to all peramiters if you dont feel an improvement rite away dont worry just go for a drive and give it some beans also on our hondas every twenty turns ov the ignition the ecu will reset ! when i change fuel to V POWER i do twenty turns on/off at the petrol station so that my ecu can set its timing to the higher octaine

looking nice mate were i live vosa ar out most days and would have a birthday with my car if i fitted them so think i mite make some keep up the gud work mate

try rocking the steereing wheel mate at least a quarter ov turn left to right do it quite fast and see if it knocks ? do it stationary tho ? if so it could be the steereing arms or a track rod end ! also dont jack the car up to check things as this will only put tention on the parts .

i bought all four from honda as they were only £50 + vat each

hi mate the thermostat is located in the housing above the starter motor ! as for the reverse gear it could be the linkage or clutch or even worse inside the g/box ? if you take it to a garage they mite give you a free diagnostic on to why this is happening wot about the rest ov the gears ?

also mc has a longer pipe on back box the mc rear springs ar a heavyer spring i think as its an estate ? so in theory on the mb they should make the rear a bit stiffer

try another ecu reset mine has done the same for a while now apart from the cold start idle my idle builds up slowly from start and peaks at 2000 rpm depending on the weather

engine out / no subframe off / maybe a couple ov redbulls will keep you going till the jobs done
