  9. u got easy if its just cold a little snow in brighton and the whole damn town has come to a standstill buses are cancelled but the bus company says "the snow is not thick enough to enable use to operate snow chains safely..." thats a load of BS, the friday feeling had got the better of them...
  10. i've had them done on my car since i bought it last year alongwith both droplinks at the front Strange tho the rubber on them have burst again, try gettin the parts from honda maybe those are better than Unipart ones.
  11. yes mr myagi, very very wise words there...
  12. i think stealth goes out the window when ur driving a bright electro blue mb6... big wheels, bodykit, spoiler.... just a thought...

should've taken a video, ken block gymkhana aberdeen style. i love driving on ice/snow, bit annoying when you need to get places tho lol...
  14. toyos got a fair bit of spanking, not as bad as i thought it would have been, had you gone with slightly worn tyres i guess it would've meant you come home on wires. i was absolutely shattered last night playing gt5 drove over the grass, smacked a few barriers (always the same ones), got a time of 8mins 50secs, was progressively gettin worse so gave up after 4 laps lol, i had dc2 complete stock, fresh oil, Sports Soft tyres (skipped the extra weight thot this is goig to be slow enough). Guys we should arrange an online gt5 meet at the ring it'll save about a £1000 lol Gt 3, 4 or 5 all are brilliant, found it quite hard to adjust to GT5 at first but you've got to move with the times and the newer cars. the default controls are a mess, i've completely changed it which drastically helps imo. @dave - i think you should stick to titan silver and get the full aero kit for the deck makes it look like a beast from the east... either that or pirates black, but i go on and off that black, dont like it when it goes purple. Titan silver is always a winner especially with the aero kit

  16. 11 mins is pretty good, think im going to hit up gt5 right now, get a standard dc2, add 200 kgs for extra weight, and report back... lol thats quite affordable considering the experience, set aside a grand and a bit, it'll almost cover you for new tyres, brake discs and pads, and a service to get you home. did u lose anything on the deck, im always losing bits when im pushing it to the limit, goes from my daily to see you in a couple of weeks quite often... anyway, im purely amazed by this project build dave... cant wait for the next installment, and im itchin to get my deck back now
  17. hmm 329 euros... tasty... but having the ur own deck that once used to be ur daily, its probably a whole different experience, much more rewarding, the build up of the work, kind of like a the F1 season without the media coverage, but hey we're here aren't we tuning in for updates. "Go team DeLaSoul" Dave, what were your lap times from the last visit???? how much did it cost to get on the ring last time?
  18. How fast was your fuel gauge moving? Like a brick of a tower block!!! No proof but ive blipped it upto 140 but its got 160 on the clock so no point taking a pic till its near there lol! I very much dout it would get near that tho. feed me more, jus kidding... i think 1cough40 is kl enough unless theres a stretch some like a runway nearby... i think maybe i should stop talking, i dont want to be a bad influence now. .

hmm... come to think of it, i've never really had the civic out in the snow or gravel, so i'll have to put it to the test when i get it back on the road. I crapped myself last year going round a bend and the back end just swung out of nowhere doing like 25 mph in wet, ran over a massive metal plate in the middle of the bend and swoosh. couldn't have had it so sideways if i had tried. lol just kept thinking to myself please dont crash, please dont crash, please dont crash, its gonna b a b@sterd getting parts for you!!!! you dont mind a bit of sideways action if thats what you're going for but if you're driving slow, secretly using ur iphone to text... then phone goes up in the air and two hands on the wheel, uv got fight ur instincts and keep the foot on the gas
  20. LOL good times m8... big balls... doing 140... lets take a picture... awesome, i shouldn't be encouraging you but then i'd be hipocrit for encouraging myself... any fun times in the CTR? how far have u been able to stretch yours? you can buy good cars but you cant buy good drivers @mr m3 driver
  21. good luck, a bit of arseing around but you will get there, it'll be one of yer favourite mod for years to come. transforms the ride. i was really lucky when gettin my springs and shocks swapped over, the mechanic required no extra parts just £200 for the labour, normally the parts r more expensive than the labour lol wouldve preferred to do it with civic5 mini mod meet!!! the 200 coulda gone towards more parts

    Mazda Mx5

oh james mate havent seen this space for a while, car looks awesome in the night pics great job on the paint, nick was right beading porn !!!! like snap off wheel like snap off keys ...x2 LOL, thats when you go proper race car i've got some photos of the civic with the mx5 in it will give you a shout if i get round to photobucket, it's eh restricted at work you see (unlike civic5 ), laptop at home is still on the blink

    N/A v F/I

we know whats good for us, turbo on 4WD is flippin crazy, u cud go all ken block on that...
  24. Lol mark come any where near my car with one of those tow hooks and there will be trouble! Might be going through now 100% yet, supposed to be a biggie tho with a convoy from as far as warrington!!! If i go though il be bullying the dubbers on the way then il break off and head for wigton. 41 to the gallon is flippin unbeleivable thats even better than 33mpg i get in my accord and thats only the 1.8 vtec. i've a good few run with CTR's on the motorway, kept up with them up to about 120-125 after that they start pullin away. really want a ctr but im trying to wait until im 25 (2 years to go yet) for the insurance to come down a bit, im still about £650 a year right now on the deck and accord each. Check my other project thread theres a couple of pics of a ctr trying to get away from my old mb6 on my private driveway this iv got to seee now wheres your other bloody prject thread
