    true... true...
  4. great pics, in the back of my the next time i drive my deck im going to visualise the stripped out shell, they say you should visualise your goals, lol, just kidding im not cool enough to do that awesome work, glad your windows are ready, i would love that set up on the road with tints, so no one would know iv got a roll cage in the back and a full track set up... keeping it stealth, aerodeck style
  5. 41 to the gallon is flippin unbeleivable thats even better than 33mpg i get in my accord and thats only the 1.8 vtec. i've a good few run with CTR's on the motorway, kept up with them up to about 120-125 after that they start pullin away. really want a ctr but im trying to wait until im 25 (2 years to go yet) for the insurance to come down a bit, im still about £650 a year right now on the deck and accord each.
  6. He said in another thread he is getting more mpg than the mb6 thanks for clearing that up, been thinking of what car to get that still puts a smile on my face as much as the deck and is slightly more economical, there's going to be a lot of trips up and down the country, really want to keep the mc2 and just add a sixth gear

Make sure it's a Petrol one TDi's are not the same. Get one with silly Turbo lag too. wait.....wait....wait... ohf**kinghellherewegoooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!! oh yes of course it would be petrol! dont think i would enjoy having a diesel car. Ive driven our vw touran 1.9 tdi a bit lol on the book it has the same bhp as my mb2 try driving it in the wet with traction off, i bet you the wheels will spin every time the turbo kicks in,it'll give you the impression you've got masses of power, had great fun in the 2006 passat 1.9 tdi, these cars are great for economy and handling in dry conditions, but other wise i dont like em

My mazda understears when you are going a bit quick, but a bit of a boot and the backend comes out to play one day I think i'd like an inteligent 4wd car FWD when you need it, RWD when you want it, 4WD when your almost in a hedge my thoughts exactly, fwd - DC2/ EP3 rwd - E46 M3 with a big a*s turbo, crazy power 4wd - nissan GT-R all life's problems solved, thats how i want to roll, great handling on in all three categories

supercharger or NA for drivability, lose traction quite easily in turbo's easily i wet conditions unless they are 4wd. but really every car is different SUPERCHARGER FOR THE B18, just to be different
  10. thats some heavy stoppage power there, cant wait to see this prject completed, looks amazing, definitely wanna see you taking out m3s in the deck, would make my day. loving the car m8, great work
  11. OK, this might be a dumb question but just seen a post about ABS and it got me thinking about something. I know we all have ABS on our cars, but has anyone ever felt the ABS pump kick in under heavy braking? I must admit i have no ABS lights come on and quite often when im going for those "spirited drive" ive had a lock ups on the front wheels but none of the abs pumpin the brakes on/off/on/off i just always thought oh well old car = sh1t ABS Not that it bothers me im just curious to see if anyone has come across, or maybe im not driving fast enough in which case.... time for a topgear challenge! jus kidding
  12. sweet, very niceooodles, i need get me one of those, the exhaust system snap crackled then popped on xmas eve after a blast on my deck, it wasn't too bad tbh its barely noticeable the 4" inch back box is just as loud, just when the revs come down now it farts now. i didnt know that the "b" pipe was the same as the dc 2, that opens up the search on ebay - cheers
  13. result ! lookin good shahbaz, must be loving the handling, now u can attack those bends flatout!! tom theres a universal high flow cat on ebay, its bn on my watch list for a while if you're looking for one - heres the link http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/350629278360? ... 1438.l2649
  14. where is the drooling smiley? found it just something about fast 4 dr saloon, u gotta love em sweet ride m8, it is an import yeh? i dont think they were any on ukdm
  15. dropped : mg zs shocks+ lowered springs
  16. i've had two tickets on the accord - on a normal headlamp it just shoots the light everywhere, my mate got one while driving it as well. Glasgow isn't a great place for HID's, cousin got a pull in his 09 C Class for aftermarket HIDs, he even had projectors , and so did my other cousin in his Corsa with projectors. double whopper! The only way around it has been to either hide the ballast as they dont issue a ticket until they find it, and make sure the car has got headlamp washers, they can't really tell if its got self levelling unless theyre proper smart @rses Depends where you are and what the cops r like... but theyre the same everywhr imo... Not happy de-xenoned the car a month or two ago, i've seen a set of H7CR kits on ebay, the bulb is shorter and comes with a cap to reduce the crazy glare, thinking of trying them. Carbon wrap if you can im sure it will look propa sexy, dark headlights just give the car an evil look
  17. steelies are the best = flatout on all roads lol, hate alloys sometimes, that feeling when you didnt spot the pot hole, bungggg, like someone stabbed you in the back steelies and low is good look, ive been hunting a set for the aerodeck but its a mission on 4x114, jus something about a car when you see it with steelies, you dont expect VTEC.... plus i've heard that alloys slow cars down anyway. great job with the rattle can top work
  18. this car is gonna look hot once its dropped, wheels are looking good, must agree blue black and white great combo. clay bar the paint and then get some deep gloss polish on it. looking forward to seeing the end result, gud luck
  19. Haha yes please do! I don't see a lot of mb3 acceleration vids on Youtube.. I will try to record one when i go to work tonight (friday) LOL should get a few good chances for some get up and go thanks for the video, reminds me of some fun times... ill b on the lookout for your vid too mr brown, this should be good...
  20. aw mate cant believe i missed this thread sweet CTR, carbon dash is a good look , i trust ur stil enjoying the car ever had any mb6's pull up next to you trying to give you a race? lol on a serious note hows the fuel economy in comparison to the mb6?
  21. spray the chrome bits black inside the headlights, it will look awesome. another thing are you using self levelling projecter lamps, its only relevant if your going to be using xenons. i got a ticket for them in my accord a while back in normal headlamps, try and build them to a legal standard, the coppers popped my bonnet found the ballast gave me a ticket based on their findings... (note to self hide the ballast ) headlamp washers, self levelling beam and an "approved" headlamp for xenons anyway good luck kp us posted
  22. wow. longest post ive read i think... and ive printed the spreadsheet out and had a skim imo now im no mechanic - im just full of bright ideas , why dont you try and find a used engine b18 with gearbox will save alot of hassle and shouldnt cost you more than 1200 GBP or less even including fitting, if you find a teg thats been running sweet then find a good honda specialist near where you are and get them to do the swap... that will get you back on the road at least. meanwhile if you're happy with the way it is keep that setup or continue with your planned overhaul on the engine/gearbox thats been taken out, gives you the freedom of getting around and not having to waiting on months for parts/time to complete the project As for the overhaul, i think going to all that hassle, everyone almost ends up exceeding their budget as you find yourself stuck for some parts that are just extortionate that you can't find a way around to get any cheaper. Just depends how badly you want it? even buy another mb6, thats working right, you can easily pick one up in the UK with great spec around £1500 anyway hope that doesnt confuse you further
