  1. Ah cheers ill have a look , think they are about 50mm
  2. Ok well dont think Gutson around and not done much in the last month so Im gonna make it the maroon 3! Changing my entry to this stunning piece.. Build thread http://civic5.com/forum/index.php?/topic/7834-long-term-project/
  3. These are 17mmm so not sure? Do blue and chrome as well Yeah definitely going no centre caps but will need small centre badges
  4. Yeah the other two wheels seem to be holding fine, but its quite expensive if it does go wrong
  5. I should have started up a voting thread for wheel caps!I think i prefer without, unfortunately they are wheel bolts Kyfer and only found red ones and need extra long ones on back cos of 20mm spacers! Edit...just found wheel bolt covers...sorted!
  6. Ok well update on plastidip Firstly one of the wheel caps peeled (i did notice it was lifting on a edge when I sprayed it) Then the next day the rear wheel started peeling, again I though it may have done because when moving the car with bags on discs the bags must have moved a bit and lifted the edge. So now have two wheels silver one side and two plastidipped the other side! Also got a new tin of metalizer, started spraying and nozzle got stuck down and kept coming out, even removed nozzle and still came out, so waste of £15 there This the wheels after a few coats of silver metalizer So personally ideal for grill, small items (and fish tank backgrounds!) But I wont be using again on wheels as worked out quite expensive (£80) Think im gonna get them done professionally this colour next... And finally im thinking, caps off?
  7. If you got any updates gutson , ive put you up for car of the month
  8. Guessing your gonna be doing yours that colour now Tom?! Think gunmetal like dynochips old wheels colour looks the best with your colour Kyfer
  9. No mate! They actually advise spraying vertically (you can obviously still remove wheels if you want or do the old bag trick!)
  10. Leakless yay! I like 3" or 3.5" on the M series personally, outward rolled
  11. Thanks! Well used three tins of black and one tin of metalizer, so I would say one tin per corner. Only annoying thing where I did the plastic bag thing around the brake discs (as per youtube instructions) some of the bag has slightly touched the wheel and am worried it may lift. Time will tell. Thing is my wheels were great condition underneath and wouldnt have wanted to permanently paint them, least this way I can go back to silver, then redo. They just bought out a copper metalizer which I fancy!
  12. Yay I was right Rotas! (Only cos I nearly bought exactly the same ones ), look amazing mate...best size 16" Love the canards, you should make and sell them! i quite like it when they have two each side as well
  13. Okay so did the headlights again, they came out really well actually, but annoyingly a different colour blue to the fogs so might remove it Also used a bit of the blue film to do the reverse lights on the back Added some nice H&R sparkly stickers to rear quarters And fired up my vinyl machine for new rear window vinyl (going to be EastCoast, the West is for Kyfer!)
  14. Use autoglym tar remover mate to get rid of old badge adhesive ...works a beaut. Put my vinyl cutting equipment away for the winter, but was doing loads last year. Gonna get it out tomorrow and fire it up! Loving the sig
  15. Cant wait to see the wheels in place, im gonna guess rota and looking gunmetal....nice!
  16. Cheers Kyfer, not much else gonna happen to it for a while now (although have just ordered another tin of plastidip!) Been meaning to say cars looking sweet mate, especially last few photos, see you hardly got any grief on splitter scuffers and that is a achievement with those idiots on there! rover jokes, yeah Ive never heard them before
  17. Nice Cheers... Headlights blue again tomorrow to match the fogs
  18. May as well, what colour? Yeah they are too dark for me really so will get another silver metalizer spray and do some more coats. Its more graphite atm rather than gunmetal
  19. Wheels done! Quite happy but a very dark gunmetal (although look lighter in the flesh) so may get another can of metalizer and go lighter Heres some pics Gave the grill a little dusting
  20. Your right there Nick end of my spending for a bit now though.
