  1. Hey folks is their any known faults along the lines of maybe steering rack? Reason I ask is when knead driving at speed on a private road the car felt really light as if I had no control, it felt like the night my balljoint snapped at 60 having the same sense of not being in control. Is this normal for these to go really light at high speed? Also when say slowing down at a roundabout and revs are low, when I accelerate to pick back up, at the point of accelerating their is a knock as if something's loose. Unsure if this is normal with the change from slowing down to sudden picking back up? Any help be appreciated guys many thanks
  2. Just to add it's usually a bit easier to change on cold start which maybe makes me think of an issue.
  3. My gear changes are pretty tight but it has the poly bushes nearly everywhere and the short shifter. A few of my mates struggle to get her into gear lol. I've no side to side slop on mine at all, it's all pretty tight. Can sometimes just be annoying the hard changes in traffic just wanted to make sure it was normal with the mods. How is your one with the bushes and shifter marv?
  4. Sorry lol it's been a long day. Would the gear linkage being poly bushed make the changes tighter?
  5. Hey folks just a quickie. Most of my mb6 is poly bushed but is their anywhere that could be bushes that would make gear changes extremely tight? Also had a shortshift if that makes any diff to it. Cheers
  6. If it's the noise I'm thinking it's balljoints. Id get fixed quick as I delayed on mine and it snapped at 60. Luckily on a straight quiet road though.
  7. Hey folks needing some quick help, where can i buy some oil? I used to use opie but now on the search doesnt return anything for Honda and i cant find my motul 10/40 fully synthetic that i used to buy. In fact their 10/40 fully synth section is now pretty poor. Where else can i purchase decent oil for my beast?
  8. Take them from anywhere tbh just been told from a few people to def get steel ones. I'll try hinting that shop on eBay as their sites being gay
  9. Sorry to re post but that nuts4wheels wouldn't let me onto PayPal on phone or laptop so is their any other place for steel ones lol
  10. That's magic guys thanks for all the input and links
  11. Yea just like those lol. Look the same as the ones Chandler mentioned from eBay so would either set be okay?
  12. Can you still get coloured steel ones? Really wanting blue extended ones lol.
  13. That's great man I'll have a look through those companies also then decide or research if theirs much diff between eBay ones and the companies ones. Thanks for the links also mate appreciate it
  14. Yea can appreciate that mate but that's why I've asked here for people who may have the sets on and can recommend where to buy the good ones. After having my ones on I couldnt imagine the standard ones on personally. Thanks Chandler
  15. Yea think so very light little fellas. They are extended just now so probably keep it that way but would like blue ones if that's easily sourced?
  16. Apologies if this is in wrong section firstly. Was just hoping some of you nice people could post a link to semi decent wheel nuts as I've heard of proper s**tty ones and don't want to be buying any that may snap or what not. Got aftermarket ones on just now but guy at work who done my tyres tightened to much and snapped two of them. Thanks
  17. Yea mate the bulb goes in as normal and wires come out the back of it with a 3 prong plug which goes into the socket that would have been attached to the back of a headlight normally. Going to get a lad from my work to hopefully voltmetre it if he has time and hopefully find some issue. Hate electrics :/
  18. It's the passenger side that is on permanent. The kit I've got doesn't have a direct feed from the battery it just has an adapter which allows the standard plug to be used so in essence the kits a lot simpler and tidier. So what kind of area would I start to look at as wiring can confuse me a lot lol. Hoping the description of the kit makes it easier for people to hopefully identify and help me along a bit
  19. A little change here the passenger light is actually permanently on full beam, hoping this may help and someone may have a better idea than me why this is happening lol.
  20. Hey folks looking for a little input to relieve my stress lol. When I got my mb6 it had Bosch hid kit and the passenger full beam didn't work. The dipped beam just recently went so ordered a set of hid from hid4u and the same full beam doesn't work. Ive checked the fuse and they are fine is their anywhere else that could be causing an issue?
  21. I'll need to pull back and see if I can locate this bush. Thanks for the input mate fingers crossed this solves it
  22. What's best way to try and diagnose the bush on top of the shock? Or is it a case buy it and hope for the best lol. I've got koni dampening adjustables on mine so im praying one of these two help to keep the bills down
  23. Was yours making a clicky kind of noise over bumps as well? Trailing arm bush is Polly bushed as is the arb bushes so shouldn't in theory be them. So maybe looking at drop link or bush at top of the shock yea?
  24. Right been trying to source this for a while now and it's getting really annoying lol. Anytime I go over slightly uneven road surfaces, sometimes when braking and turning corners I get a click/tick from drivers rear wheel area. Would this sound like the shocks gave up or could I still be looking elsewhere? If I stand in my boot and bounce pretty firmly up and down my mate can hear it right by the wheel. Anyone experienced this before or anyone recognise these symptoms and able to relate it to anything?
