  1. Sorry kryz didn't word great. I meant maybe they been down to low 20's as I stuck about 8psi in at the shell machine and when they were checked at work it was at 30. But I'd have thought at low 20's it would have been visible that the tyre was low.
  2. A few people saying underinflated tyres. When guy at my work first thought it could have been over inflated tyres i went to asda and put them from 32/33 or their abouts to 27. Then loads of people said it would happen with under inflated tyres so popped them up to 33 at shell. However my mate who is a mechanic said the machines at petrol stations arent that accurate so the next day at work I had them checked with one of the handheld tyre checkers through the air lines and they read 30. So is it possible they have maybe been down for a bit or possibly still some other issue?
  3. Not sure How old they are or that to be honest but it's been on the ramp and their was no visible play with anything. Tyres been on since just before Xmas so it's a sickner. Been recomended to pop them up to 34 as mate says if doing higher speeds tyres shud be pumped up higher coz of the speeds. So may try 34 as I sometimes am in a rush to say the least. Mat still try tracking as well.
  4. Ahhhh balls. Any ideas why both edges would be wearing? Is yours 32 from cold or is that the tyres hot? Also apologies for double thread no idea why this has happened.

    Tyre wear

Hey folks looking for some advice here. My tyres are wearing on inner and outer edges and wandered if you guys could give some input. Tyre size is 195/50/15. Guy at my work reckoned tyres being over flated, they were sitting at 33psi. Ive put them down to 27 just now but other people have said under inflated tyres could cause it. Surely over 33psi would be way to much?
  6. Yea be the same as me then mate readings will be all over as the chances are even tho the gauge reads roughly the same can bet the amount of petrol in their wont be. Def try filling it tho and doing your 100 miles then see how it fairs up. Hopefully it doesnt take the £25
  7. Are you filling the tank each time or just letting the needle get down to roughly the same position and banging some fuel in. Unless your filling right up and doing the calculations I wouldnt say your results will be accurate. Ive seen times where ive threw in money at points where id feel the needle was sitting prevously yet the reading have been massively different. Also need to consider factors like driving style, town driving or not weather etc. Try filling your tank, do 100 miles then go back to fuel station and see if it takes £25 to fill back up.
  8. Cheers guys. Cannot find bloody skirts anywhere lol. Getting that bad considering just getting mgzs ones as heard they fire straight on.
  9. Couple of up to date pictures since ive had the back end sorted. I know the pics wont show the work been done very well but if you can see the back passengers quarter and drivers you will see no dents or anything now and back bumpers all done. Need to get the rest of the black bits colour coded asap.
  10. You would need the rest of the system or u cud still fabricate the cat in with whatever system is on. Theirs no stopping you getting the manifold just now. Only need to worry about cat if mot is near lol
  11. You can get a cat off an ej9 all over Honda for sale. Would depend if you wanted standard or not. I've got a ej9 one kicking about somewhere poss in my boot lol. Is def recomend the set up tho but obv your car bud.
  12. When I had my mb3 I bought a aftermarket manifold which obv gives the decat. However I did have a cat from my old ej9. So when I went to the guy who custom makes my exhausts I got him to fabricate my exhaust so I could put my ej9 cat into the centre when required. This is what I'd do again if I had a mb3 saved p**sing about replacing whole manifold again for mot.
  13. Nahh mate mine doesn't look like that one. Mine is a darker one. Not sure if itl be earlier or later model or what not.
  14. Mine was set to 3.6k at a tuning place so we could monitor cars behaviour. Mine looks diff to that though, mines a VAFC controller or something can alter all the air mixtures etc as well. Decent piece of kit when set up properly.
  15. Got 6000k on mine and had them on previous cars. Mot have been fine as colour and pattern have been fine. Just avoid cheapy sets. Xenons R us on fb sell good kits for around 60 quid and u get LED sidelights with them.
  16. Theirs a green screwy looking think behind the lights. This will adjust it manually for ya
  17. Hear many diff opinions on this. Some say best to check when car cold as all will be in the sump. Heard others say when up to temp lol. I usually check after ive slapped about 50 quid of fuel in so its up to temp but had a couple of mins to settle down.
  18. Mines on about 95k so wouldnt say mileage is too bad for a 2000 plate.
  19. That come from opies as well does it? Been heavily mixed between 10/40 and 5/40 but think ill go 5/40 and take it from their lol.
  20. Yea was running 5/40 motul and it seemed to run fine. Didn't know anything about comma oil bit it seemed better than halfords own s**te lol. Will order up some more motul on payday
  21. Was going to go 10/40 fully as prefer full synthetic personally. Yea mate comma is utter pish. Sooner i get it out the better lol
  22. Going to do another change within a week or so, shall bang some 10/40 fully in and take it from their. Thanks guys
