only spent 4 hours on it so short session still got some swirl marks to get out.

it wasn't sunny when i started then the sun started saying hello here and there which was annoying so didn't spend as long as i wanted on it but she will get more attention after japfest when i take her off the road for a good restore
-
small add to the sotroy as got to go prep the civic for japfest ina sec. So I wanted to take a break from fixing stuff and customize a little and the best place to start was the wheels. As they will defo be replaced so I thought painting them wont hurt took them into work. masked them up and sprayed them with some high gloss 2pack black Done i do like black wheels on a silver car but until I have the fund to get some Works emotions these will have to do ( dont keep them for long as you will soon see)

yup but i have some fancy nozzles for them which i can adjust for best results. friend at halfords mixed the the colour which was spot on honestly cant tell the difference.

NEXT JOB So headlight/Bumper mounts got one through already then the other arrived and it was yellow so had to respray that b****r aswell BOOM I was determined to make sure every part I take off gets revamped before it goes back on. then fitted the mounts and it finally looked lie a minter with lush body work apart from 2 minor stone chips lol So next job was too really start on getting every mechanical working sound and there was a huge list.
-
So my front bumper also had a small nick in it but I thought I would tackle this one myself. So this is few pics from the process Then the fun of getting it silky smooth once that was sorted lick of paint then a few coats of Laquar and leave it to dry for a week Finished it off with a 1200 grit sand and a polish to blend it in. then Boom So if you noticed its wasn't all attached flush as one of my headlight/bumper mounts was bent so needed replacing (the next job)

So where was I. seeing the car was off the road It was a good idea to get all the body work mint so after a few quotes Simon from www.chipandpaintrepairs.co.uk was able to come and sort it out for me. he basically turns up in his van and works his wonders . i like Simon was a cracking guy and will defo get him to sort any issues i have in the future And heres the finished work He only charged £300 for the whole job which involved hammering out most of the dent, treating and removing any surface rust, and then the casual sanding filling, sanding filling then final coat. PROPer Job

So it starts right then after long time thinking about looking at a new car it always came down to the fact of I never want to get rid of my beloved MB6. I loved the way it drove, handled and sounded to much to ever let it go. So when it came down to looking for another toy to work on and really have fun in I was not ready to leave the Honda scene. The choice where a NSX or a s2000 now i would have a nsx straight away if the dam things were affordable so i went for the next best thing the Honda S2000 After much saving and pursading the miss's that i need this in my life I finally picked myself up a completely standard S2000 The thing was no angel. under acceleration she wanted to put me in a hedge, when you lift of the throttle the back end wobbled badley, she was missing her headlight washer jets, the clutch was slipping badly, had all odd tyres on, I pretty nasty dent in the rear quarter, she looked like she had never been polished (paint felt like sand paper). ABS light was on, and loads more. So in other word really found myself a good project. Apart from all those issues the car was sound the engine had only covered 66000 miles so still a baby she was bog standard with 2 owners so probs never ragged. no rust on here so very happy about that the interior was perfect So let the story begin

Bit of japfest prep for my HOONDA's although only one will be coming. will start my s2k thread soon as a feeking lot has changed on her and had some real struggles to get the dam thing to drive the way i want it, but its finally playing ball now. Civic has got big plans after japfest and lots of new toys to go on but today was a good day to give it a good compound, polish and wax. OH thats kinda coool Mirror finish

I have the 16's on mine, had to stretch the arches out to fit them in the rear wheel well. I have seen a few M's with the 15's on tho.

im building up to it tom basics first then ones the car is sounding and handling the way i need it to then the headlights will get their treatment

So not been up to much modding recently, the s2k is having my casual quality service atm including under-seal, full poly bush upgrade, alloy respray, engine bay clean up and lots of other stuff so the poor civic hasn't had much attention over the past few months. But after a weekend of cleaning both cars its now time for the civic to get some more loving so i will start with again with the fun mods. engine mods mostly to start with until then here is a couple pics of my 2 toys Nothing can replace my love for the civic

cheers guy. My MB will still be my one true love and forever on going project my s2k is going to be hopefully a real fun toy mostly kitted out for track. after watching the s2000's owners club set up at japfest I have decided not to join them they were all over the show and up their own arses so this s2k stays in this club.
