  5. thats a pickle did you have the rest of the valves re seated? it it were me i would have bit the bullet and fitted a full set of valves while i was at it :/ hope you sort this before it get the best of you, chin up tools out dont let a machine beat you you own it remeber EDIT; im using 5-30 fully synthetic and use just as much oil as if i were using 10-40
  6. Why is it so difficult to buy anything for these civics lol Yeah they are good ridge ones only went for them as I was getting 2 new tyres aswell and didn't wanna pay delivery in the lines and tyres

  8. just had another nosey and there is no 17 in the menu under it so ou couldnt order a straight one :/ but on the plus side mgzs roll bars fit and have better droplinks by the looks of it

I remember karjis poly bushed his and he had a straight bar not an L also if you check out kings honda the exploded diagram show L shaped link and straight ones :/ might just have to go for it then couldn't find much of any use about the net I'm sure I heard the mgzs roll bar was the same size but used these better drop links but must be imagining it as I can't find anything about it now lol
  11. also as im needing drop links ive looked about can i somehow upgrade the links or the whole arb as i dont really wanna put the crappy l shaped ones back on
  12. well another years ticket and with only front drop links advised spent the last 6 months pondering about if i should keep my car as i didnt like the attention i was getting in it, im not one for getting all aggrovated by what people think, it was more the police pulling me and being absolute d**ks about everything right up until the point they have ripped my car apart just trying there best to find somthing to do me for (3 times this happened) and finding nothing at all funny how every copper can smell cannabis in your car but cant find it and dosnt phone for the dogs? guess that was just an excuse to search my car then. i love how your guilty of everything until you prove yourself innocent too. anyway ive had no updates for a while on this no real ones anyway, i would say if your after a new starter motor there are ones on ebay for 60 i got mine from a seller on the bay for 60ish and it was listed for my chassis and engine code but they do not fit at all i would avoid them at all costs im sure the motor they sent is for a dseries as b18c4 was the only b series listed in the compatability menu. ive got plans not good solid ones and an end goal for my little civic, few updates to come shortly hope your all enjoying japfest would love to go maybe next year ey?

    you need to find an mot tester that works on cars because he loves working on cars, and dosnt despise his job and love to cause misery the first chance they get.

    yeah i could do mateill get a price for them when i got the post office in an hour, and they are dirty but they have only done 66k theyre off my mb6 not sure if you mention what chassis code you have.

    If the coils gone again then you could have a short in your ignition, somewhere :s I know this will sound expensive just to try it but change your leads and plugs you could also be arcing at the cap, but I'm sur I read you changed the rotor and cap. Other than that I'm lost man
  17. I'd also have a look at you drop links aswell and tbh fr the price of 2 track rods and 2 droplinks (£40ish for all 4) I would change them both and see if it persists then have a look at your top mounts and springs
  18. Valves and arp head studs are the randoms, kinda makes me think there's more going on in the head maybe Teg cams pistons? Or maybe it's just had a head gasket and the guy decided to upgrade the studs but that wouldn't explain the valves, but then maybe it's had valve stem seals at some point and the valves were upgraded :s but yeah would be interesting to see what power it's throwing out
  19. Does your handbrake work correctly mine started this noise in one side where I have a stuck caliper it bangs nothing has fell off yet so I'm not to worried about it just yet :/ I think it's got somthing to do with the handbrake mech being freed up and somthing bashing around in that area?
  20. figured it would be the obx they are a really good price, keep us up to date with them let us know how they are, wish to get itb's when funds allow.
  21. i have leaks in my mb6, misting has already become an issue :/ mine leaks at the screen like everyone elses and in throgh my n/s/r light cluster ;/ ill get round to it one day

You need some better roads around you if it's not scaring you, I can go for a drive in the missus Ka round the country roads and have her in a whining as she see that alll the problems with lack of power and not being able to change down to 2nd doing 20 were down to her, but yeah go on a track day or sumat where you don't need to hold back at all see if that let's you get your kicks

  24. I would just build the head turbo it get it running sweet then if its not enough at 250 then I'd strip it and build the bottom end, And would probs need a dog box over 400hp
