Also I don't know about your deck but my mb6 goes all the way to 8500-8600 haha
-
True that, true that, hah it does rev to 5600 but would probs go to 6000 if I pushed it but the car insists on changing at 5000 and taking its sweet old time doing so :/
-
Yeah it is weak for the size think but it is by no means slow, 335bhp 0-60 in 6.5ish 400ish ft lb of torque if I remember correctly I think it is a Sebring essentially but badged as a 300c also it would be a lot faster if it would let me change gears but it always changes before me and it takes an age to change gear aswell I'd say it took near a second to change.

So here's a couple pics of what I've been driving for the past week And it's pretty good on juice too! 18mpg so far but that really Dosnt bother me as I put half a tank in this morn (40litres) and the total cost of said petrol was $30 (£20ish) can't believe that American actually complain about the price of fuel!

Felt it nessasary to update you with a couple pics seeing as I'm jazzing round the pool in Florida waiting to go get some munch from hooters

marko replied to DAVEMB2's topic in Honda Civic MA/MB/MC
ohh yeah!! dave is gunna have to write up some co pilot application forms init? -
yeah just looked it up and you dont get coils with it any honda coils will do providing they came of a coil on plug system also you need ecu to run it and you still need your distributor for timing. this would have been a good mod if i already had the ecu or hondata s 300
-
and to answer my own question think i will have to purchase this after my holidays
-
i just mean aftermarket as in a full dizzy i can just fit coin in or out, coil on plug if it can be done?
-
yeah im looking to replace it but holiday out of the way first, then all my money can be spent on my car so hopefully when i get back off holiday i will have plugs leads a new dizzy/cap and rotor and also a timing belt as i hit 66k not long back and want it done before 70k

I never said you or anyone was sad pal if anything I admire you for breaking the mould and using your car to actually go fast, too often I've heard of people that can't keep the car on cam while changing gear :s, and I sit and think if you can't keep your car on cam while changing gears and trying to go fast then you really shouldt be going fast period your gunna hurt yourself and more importantly your gunna hurt your car and or anyone that happens to be around when you fail. Sorry for any misunderstanding's pal but my opinion is exactly that my opinion and I'm am more than entitled to it -

I never said I frowned upon it or that I don't think it should be done merely stating that to me it's kinda like entering your own child into a popularity contest at school then asking all the other kids parents to vote for your kid, Like I said I'm not getting at anyone or trying to stop it from happening or make them feel bad in any merly stated that I can bring myself to vote for a car entered by its owner Apologies if I hurt anyone's ego -

I will not vote for a car entered by its owner, at least get creative and bribe someone to enter it for you Loving the wheels chandler! -
At least you know you won't have to fight those screws again next time the mot is due
-
Jobs a good'un
-
You could also purchase some self tapping screws with a 10mm head on them for future endeavours as you need to remove them to adjust handbrake cable and or change your handbrake cable
-
Get underneath the car with a hair dryer/hot air gun/blowtorch and a wire brush maybe even just a wire brush if your lucky and then proceed to remove The underseal from the screws for the armrests it's above your exhaust should be able to take the exhaust rubbers off and drop the exhaust down enought to get into it if you've got big hand like me
