just out of curiosity what colour were your plugs when you removed them?
  10. in hind sight it would be easy to swap a cable but i couldnt seperate it at the caliper when i didi mine and ended up messing round for ages but it was simple enough to do
  11. lol the nice guys that fitted my alarm removed the sticker with the serial number on it from the box so im unable to program new fobs to my alarm so th hawk £20 central locking kit is needed as my key wont actually unlock my door :S tool kit was a bargain bet that girl got her a*s smacked when they found out what she had done haha
  12. i still think you should drive to every mot test station and ask them all if they will get your car through with a decat for £20 extra, you would be suprised what people will do for £20
  13. Sports cats a notoriously bad for failing mots, some of them have to be mega hot before they will pass an mot even though it flew through one when said sports cat was newly fitted
  14. find yourself a friendly mot tester instead and remove the cat completely no more problems
  15. ive wired toe bars on to tranny tippers, and ive wired reverse cameras into luton vans without much hassle before took some time but got there in the end. my current dilema is a lack of scotch locks so im guuna leave it and nip to the motor factors later im in no rush for the alarm and im kinda scared of removing the old alarm :S dont wanna permanently immobilise my car or worse get it in and it just not be compatible lol
  16. weel it was my birthday last week so i treated my self to this down rom 250 to 99 bargain and i was about to use them for the first time to go fit this as the button fell out of my cobra key fob and cobra told me all i could do was get a new alarm :/ then i went to get to it and find out how to remove my old alarm and boom dropped my keys in a brew dunno if i can even turn my alarm off yet :/ so just gotta wait for that to dry out
  17. car is looking sweet man, you and karjis make me wanna keep going with my mb6 and the nasty man around the corner hasnt been round for a while lately guess now that the weathers bad again that he just dosnt feel the need to chase me lol so maybe ill buy that bare b18c6 head off egay after all at 150 you vant go wrong like
  18. Yeah I'd say he's pushin 50, he's just got nothing better to do
  19. That would have been awesome I do plan on doing a few speed trap runs past his house just before I sell it, can't believe it's come to this I used to drive faster everywhere in my MA8 even past his house but that didn't have a stupid loud exhaust on it so he never had a problem with me then
  20. due to recent event im now sellin my MB6, thanks to some bellend that will have his car covered in nitro mors in the near future he has complained and complained and complained to the police about me driving to fast (just to clarify for you i told him i never went over 30 which i didnt to which he replied its still to fast?) and in the past two weeks ive been pulled by the police numerous times recently all asking me what speed i was doing down ____? road. then and id reply with the speed i was doing wich was within the limit then they say ohh okay then ill let you out of the car now, cant belive ive actually been made out to be a criminal over a loud exhaust? anyway heres the add if anyone wants a nose http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/civic-18-vti/1025710838
  21. haha bellend, i have many years experience ripping panels from cars and have removed and refitted 1000s sills, quarters, wings, roofs, inner sills, inner arches, inner wings, even shelled a land rover disco, and fitted a quarter of one tranny van to 3 quarters of another for gypsies and you know what every single car ive worked on has had its own adaptation of this drainage/breather system built in, might not know what im talking about mechanical wise but bodywork is one thing i do know, and next time YOU remove and refit a sill or a quater panel you will see these "so called" drain holes. lol im bailing on this thread before i look less knowledgeable than someone else haha
  22. link isnt live because your missing this part http://www.civic5.com/forum/ also looks like ignition output signal just pulled this off of honda-tech. if it were me i would test them backwards 3 then 2 then 1 as 1 is probs the most expensive part to replace. Here's where to concentrate: 1) The igniter may be bad. 2) The Yel/Grn wire between the igniter and ECU may be bad (open or short). 3) The Blk/Yel wire between distributor 2P connector and ignition switch may be bad. There should be battery voltage with the key turned to ON(II).
  23. they're not holes as such on the arches and sills more so channels between the panels here this is only a quickly googled picture loos like its a short sill panel from a transit van but you can see the channels in the panel
  24. should look nice and tidy by the finish line pal, as for the fly eye kit watch this should boost your confidence while fitting it.
  25. lol there are drain holes buit into the sills and arches, easiest place to see these would be on the vottom of your doors
