  1. Again a few more pics. One from the breakfast meet again, and 2 from the blueprint charity event back in September (these 2 pics have only just popped up on facebook)
  2. Just a few pics taken today. Been to the Oswestry British iron works breakfast meet today. Some stunning cars on display. Was a good turn out. Freezing though. Been sent these pics of FroSTy on display there... And this shot of me leaving. Love this one. Stance on the car looks great here I think And one I ran out and took earlier as the sun set look stunning...
  3. Oh and I was asked a few times on my YouTube channel to do another walk around on my car. So I've done one. With a few extra clips in there https://youtu.be/ONSG4tHIQMM Some mobiles and tabs you need to put onto desktop mode to view it
  4. And a pic of the new splitter. And this is the angle I was referring too where I said the bonnet spacers actually look good lol. Every other angle they look shocking haha And 2 more random pics...
  5. Oh also I made myself some vinyl under bonnet plates. Which I've also sold a few sets too now You can also see the white st rs shropshire owners sticker in white like I mentioned on this pic
  6. Been in performance ford mag again. Charity event at blueprint which was covered
  7. Not posted on here for a long time. Couple of minor changes since pod. The Shropshire st owners club sticker on the slam pannel cover has now been replaced but with a white version. Does look better. Went to the wrc in Wales at cholmondeley castle and had FroSTy on display there. Never have I seen a car get so much attention as she did there. It was amazing. However.... On the way in there we where driving on a grass track to get to the parking location. Then there was a concrete bridge section. I thought I would struggle to get on there but got on there fine. But coming off it back onto the grass there was a big bang. Then loads of knocking and scraping noise. Straight away I knew what it was. So proceed to our stand and parked up. Driving past the subaru lot they where saying sounds like his suspension is gone lol, but as I thought, when we stopped I had a look and yup, I'd lost my splitter it had completely snapped off on one side, somehow folded under the car (still attached to the other side) and was knocking all the way. Managed to jack the car up and rip it off, hid the damage (parts of splitter left on the bumper) with grass haha. When I went and had a look at the bride, where we came back onto the grass there was a dip and in that dip was a big hidden rock, guess that's what took it out. Anyways even though that happened I wasn't to fussed, the attention the car was getting and with FroSTy being admired so much it completely took my mind off it. Anyways I now have a replacement one on there. Exactly the same splitter, however this one is colour coded and to be fair I think it looks a lot better. I'll post some pics in a min. Also (I'm not keen on them) I have fitted some bonnet spacers. I felt like I needed to do something about under bonnet Temps, and until I get vents fitted I've put temporary spacers on there. Don't get me wrong at a certain angle they look spot on. But I honestly ain't keen on them. They do spoil the car. But they are doing there job, it surprised me how well they actually work, can feel the heat escaping out near the scuttle pannel a lot more and Temps in the bay itself doesn't feel as warm. But soon as I get vents, they will be going.
  8. Had mine done at blueprint in notingham. very very well recommended place. people from all over the country go there. I traveled 2 hours to be there as they where highly recommended. you can give them a call or an email, or if your on Facebook send them a message on there or send Richard Monk a message. he will be more than happy to help
  9. More pics as you know I love them lol. Some ford fest prep: The wife touching up the wheels when we got on stand And as I camped that's the only pic I took on the day then my phone died lol. Luckily though I had people send me some over Facebook Entry pic And some more over Facebook Bit of a pointless one but went blackpool last night to see the lights and someone spotted me lol.
  10. Oh yeah got myself a bonnet show bar from bespoked When I found her wound And in at the tuners That's it for now. Next mods are stage 4 intercooler, front mount oil cooler, BC coilovers, and a diff. As and when these will happen I don't know. Intercooler definatly next as my stage 1 cooler is no good for the power I'm running.
  11. Been quiet on here lately. Nothing new to report really. Car had a bit of a bleed last week. Had a really bad oil leak. Well to start off I've got a suspected wheel bearing on way out and I jacked the car up to check. Upon doing so noticed the under tray was soaked. So got it off and there was one hell of an oil leak. I had an operation the day after and been unable to touch the car since. However upon having a few mates look and looking up on the net and advice on facebook at common places where they leak it looked to be the turbo oil return pipe gasket. So I went and bought the gasket, also car was due a service so oil and filter bought too. So had some mates come again to change it but after cleaning it up just to try and trace the leak a bit better it was looking to be more the sump gasket. Anyways they went and with the next car show just around the corner I thought instead of playing guessing games and changing one thing and another I got it to my tuner. Went in yesterday. Turned out it was the seal on the turbo oil return pipe. So could have saved myself an hour and a half in labour charges if my mates had just changed the seal lol. But knowing my luck if they changed it, it wouldn't have been that. But still at least she is sorted. She's dirty at the min though as I'm still recovering from the op 2 weeks ago. Hopefully I'll be good enough to clean before Sundays show at santa pod.
  12. A little pic I took the other night with my new airtec hat haha. Shame the ford light hasn't picked up properly
  13. I currently have an rs oil cooler but that just stuck on the back of the block like the standard st one. Rs one is just a bit bigger. I know a front mount cooler will change things dramatically. Having a cooler at the back of the block along with a intercooler that's for 50less bhp than I'm running it's no wonder it was hot. Like I said fast road it's fine. Was having a play on the motorway with a jag and Temps stayed spot on. Track takes a whole lot of hammer though doesn't it.
  14. Oil was about 120-125ish. Coolant was about 110. It soon dropped again when I was backing off. Then was creeping up again when I opened her back up.
  15. Standard rs it leaves them standing. But on track I was keeping up with a 400bhp rs on the straight until we started getting 130mph ish and they started to pull away a bit. Track has opened my eyes to what I need to do though. Cornering wasn't great. Entering a corner she was fine but trying to power out was useless (even the smallest bot of throttle) she just wheel spun and dragged me wide. A diff is desperately needed. Also the intercooler I have can't cope with my set up on track and coolant and oil Temps went up high. Cooler I have is rated to 300 lol. So that will be on the cards. It's totally fine on the motorway and street though. Just on track the Temps shot up. A front mount oil cooler wouldn't go a miss either. But still, I had so much fun.
  16. Ok so here's we go. The mod I kept secret until ford fair is..... So yes it's a spoiler... and yes it's an rs spoiler which I wanted to avoid. However upon closer inspection there is a big difference... So Yeah, As some of you know where looks are concerned I do try to be a bit different. And I believe this was the only option. The spoiler is a genuine rs spoiler. The extension on it has been custom made and cost £300 to be professionally done (this isn't no glued on lip). And I opted for a colour coded option again to be different. I know some of you said to not go further but I belive it works. And at ford fair it attracted a lot of attention... all of which positive. I however never paid for the extension and paint. I bought it off a very well known rs owners who was having it made for his car but before it was finished bought an m-sport spoiler instead. I got a very very good price on this. Spoilt her? My honest opinion. I don't think so. At first I was a bit hmmmm. But the more I looked, and the more feedback I got. I think the choice was right. Next up some ford fair pics. Prep complete On white st/rs owners stand And shot with rich fox's rs My entry pic And some track pics The last pic is a belter if I do say so myself. Taken from a performance ford photographer. And it gives a good comparison to a standard rs spoiler to mine.
  17. Can't do until Sunday I'm afraid lol. Just in case. I've also been sworn to secrecy lol
  18. Haha bloody thing. It actually arrived yesterday too. About 10mins after I posted this. It's on now too. And looks great
  19. The spoiler is currently being held by the 2014 UK time attack champion Ronnie Amis and is to be posted out today for tomorrow delivery The spoiler is currently being held with the 2014 UK time attack champion Ronnie amis
  20. Couple of pre ford fair mods. Fog lights again as they flaked... again. And de-wiper. I got a flush one with didn't like the look of the hair line circle it left on the glass, so I put an ads sticker over it. My spoiler is to arrive tomorrow. Can't wait.
