  1. DVD player is in. Fascia actually looks better than I thought. I was going to spray it gloss black to blend in more but I was too impatient and fitted it last night but it suits quite well in its matt plastic finish.
  2. Haha cheers buddy Something I would have done in other cars but for some reason I'm not fussed about a huge ice build on the st. Think I'm turned more to power mods and the odd visual at the mo. Don't listen to music as much anymore when driving as I just love hearing the 5pot and turbo noise lol. Ice maybe something I might touch up on in the future though.
  3. Well something I've not thought about although it's usually the first thing I do on a car and that's the stereo. Just ordered a fascia so I can fit my pioneer from my old focus
  4. Well been a couple of weeks since my wedding but finally I've had a sneak peak of some of mine and the wife's wedding pics..... This is one of them Shared it on Facebook and my phone hasn't stopped since.
  5. Bit of a boring pic update but it's one step closer to the turbo conversion. Autospecialists RS crossover pipe
  6. So... That's it... I'm a married man. But it wouldn't be a wedding of mine without a few car related things. Haha. I used my car to get to the venue. Got an awesome pic of my lad and the best man with FroSTy Also the build of mini FroSTy finally used for what she was built for. Shame the scale of the models of the bride and groom the cake woman made didn't match the car. Still looked pretty good though. Also.... You might be interested in seeing my ring..... Haha Official Goodyear too lol. The ring is awesome. Nice and strong and has a nice gun metal/black chrome two tone kind of finish. Detail is 2nd to none. Also our photographer wanted some interesting pics of me the missus and FroSTy partly my idea though lol. But I'm waiting to see these pics yet. And why not show you me and my wife.... And off topic... Got a nice pic of FroSTy today when I went for a little drive Also my tyres are fitted. They are pretty good
  7. That's good to hear I have them in my front room now.missus isn't happy about it but I can't get em on until my day off work haha
  8. splitter still going strong. has some really twitchy bum moments with it but its still on there with minor scuffs anyways the time came to upgrade the brakes. after a lot of hunting and a few options i decided to go for ebc ultimax dics and ebc red stuff pads all round and im really impressed with them. i knew my previous brakes needed changing but didnt know they where this bad. discs had a fair lip though but the front pads looked good but the rears well just look at the comparison. i know brakes should be considered more for performance but dont these just look great i also decided to paint the callipers whilst the discs where off. only managed one coat of paint on them then it rained but the finish has come up great anyways so a few pics to add as usual.... *again ignore the dirtyness lol* ignore the before and after pic as unpainted one is rear and painted one with new disc is front, but wasnt until i got on the rears i thought ohh b****r i best take a pic lol. and after breaking them in also time has come for new tyres all round. i have gone for the uniroyal rainsport 3. couldnt argue at £260 full set delivered. read some good reviews on them. now next update as i keep saying this lol..... other than tyres should be the turbo install. i get married next sat so once thats out the way i can get the ball rolling on it
  9. Splitter still going strong heard it scrape a couple of times but no marks or damage yet
  10. so shes had a bath and thought it would be rude not to take a few pics of her being cleaned with the new splitter on
  11. ok so a fair few photos now. going from last bit of ford fair prep to the event itself and a few other little bits. so first of all last bit of prep was fitting the finished engine cover and giving her a wash polish wax etc unfortunately the day before ford fair when i was cleaning the bay the header tank tint spray started to flake off hence the rag when taking the pic. its been fine since tinting it and cleaning etc priorer to this so was just my luck this would happen day before ford fair :/ cleaning bit of rain after a bath the morning of ford fair..... some lovely cloud coverage that morning 3am. arrived at ford fair ready to go with my lad on stand ready for the day. had to improvise with header tank and put a mircofibre on there with mini FroSTy ontop. love this pic, great shine my lad with the coppers and whilst i was there took emergency measures and bought this along with a few other bits... entrance pic, splitter, tow strap and tow strap bolt. AND FINALLY to finish off the amazing day i had... FroSTy won her first trophy :yahoo: she won it for the best members car which i did not expect one bit. we had a 60odd car stand on display with mustangs and loads of old school fords. didn't expect to win a thing let alone best car my first time on a stand too. my hard work has been paying off. yesterday i installed my splitter. i did fit the tow strap last week but looked odd so took it off until the front end looks a bit more aggressive. now ive fit the splitter however i now cant go forwards onto my drive. i was parked forward on it when i fitted and when i reversed off... scrappppeee lol. ignore the dirtyness of the car, not washed since ford fair lol this is same position as above pic, but taken from behind it to show how much light is passing threw as above pic looks like its touching the drive lol fly killing machine and a final pic. i put up my entrance pic and trophy up in the front room today nice display.
  12. Gel badges have come. Fit em straight away after work. Also last night gave car a good wash polish and wax ready for Ford fair.... Not the best reflection pic but nevertheless still a reflection....
  13. First day back off holiday and already doing a few little bits. First off a club sticker that I'm a mod of on Facebook. And also I've just applied the lacquer to my engine covers. Looks so much better and cleaner like this than it did with the blue stripe. Good choice I think.
  14. Ordered some gel badges for the boot and bonnet plus steering wheel that I designed. I'm on holiday at the min so will be applied when I get home. Along with lacquering and fitting the engine cover.
  15. An unexpected mod today I never planed on as I like the oem look but still the mod looks good..... I was washing the car after work tonight and I was using my lamb's wool mitt and the F off the FOCUS badge caught into the meshed bit of the mitt and popped off. Didn't fancy driving about in a limeted edition Ford ocus so debaged the rest. Does look cleaner. Pic doesn't do it any justice.
  16. Your probably sick of seeing these now as much as I am painting them but primed them yesterday and painted them today. Back to work tomorrow and go on holiday on Sat so will lacquer them soon as I'm back, ready for Ford fair
